Hello Carla and everyone at OFF,

Carla, I am so sad to hear about your friend. I agree with others that you must take care of yourself. I'm also sorry that your sis is so difficult.

Trish, Please take care of yourself.

     Cindi, Safe travels.

Connie, as always you are in my thoughts and prayers (as is OFF as a whole.)

Eileen, Praying for a fast healing process. Wish I was there to do your laundry for you.

Back home after 2 weeks of pet sitting. It is fun and tiring at the same time. Love being with the animals. Rufus, a Westy, has horrible allergies. Places on his skin were open sores when I got there. His "Mom" didn't have him on any meds. I was afraid she would be mad at me, but I took him to her vet. He had both bacterial and fungal infections in his skin and his right ear was infected. I had the vet call Jackie so she would understand how important is to take him in for care during his allergy flare-ups. I'm glad I was there. By the time I went home Rufus was back to his bright-eyed self. Made more than enough for the car payment this month. Oh, I haven't told you all. My car died and went to heaven. Ellen purchased a car in her name and I am making the car payments. Even though I am current on all my bills my debt to income ratio is still not good enough to get my own loan at low interest rates. I am so blessed to have her. (Even if we are as different as day and night.) I hope and pray that I can pay her back someday for all that she has done for me. I'll try to not complain about the status of the house again.
Must run, Lots to do.   Hugs,  Mag

Hello Mag and welcome back!!

You are missed when you are away!

Glad you helped that poor dog. People who don't take proper care of animals shouldn't have any!

I am glad Ellen was able to help you get a car. That was very sweet of her.  You are very lucky!!

Love and hugs....connie d

Hello all my sweet OFF sistas!

Today I had one of those shop-til-you-drop days.  I started this morning at the eyeglass place and got my new glasses ordered.  I am very excited to get them.  They are a Vera Bradley frame and I think they're pretty.  With insurance, they are only $133!  Whoo hoo!

Then I went to Ross.  I have only been to the one in Lufkin and it's full of crap.  But the one here in New Braunfels is wonderful!  I tried on so many things!  (But the nice part was I just walked right up to the size L rack and felt confident enough to try on.  No more size XL for me!)  I culled it down to about 5 new winter tops.  Then I went over to the shoes and went a little crazy.  I brought home 4 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of boots.  I'll wait awhile to make up my mind which ones I really, really want, and which ones to take back.  I do not need 5 new pairs of shoes!  I also scored a few things for Benny Bop, but have to wait for "Mom" to see and approve them before I remove the tags.  She's so picky about Benny's clothes!  Oh, and the last thing I got was a lovely pair of pink plaid flannel jammies to relax in during the evenings.  I love new jammies, don't you?

Then I had to stop at the store and I just barely made it to the church on time to pick up Benny at 2 p.m.  Whew!  Oh, but it's so nice to have some free time during the week.  I have really missed it.  I love Benny, but it's too hard to shop with a 2 year old in tow.

So now I need to fix some supper and get ready to watch DWTS tonight.  I love that show.  Benny and I are having home made fish sticks and french fries tonight.  I skipped lunch so I can have the fried supper.

Love you all!

Good evening Carla and OFF family.

such a beautiful day here in Michigan, the sun was shining and the trees are turning all sorts of beautiful colors.

Had to emergency babysit for David while Loulabelle went to the doc this morning. She had a bad ear infection.

Called hubby who's in Kentucky 4 wheeling and he said it rained all day so they played cards. I was surprised he got cell phone service. Usually I just leave a message and he calls back much later.

I haven't turned on my heat yet but I did get a nice fluffy blanket to cuddle up with in the evening when the temp drops. I like this weather.

I'm off tomorrow but coming into town for lunch with a nurse that left our unit. There will be a bunch of us going and it will be great to see one of my favorite people!

Hugs and prayers for all in need. Debbie
