Saturday Happenings-What's Up?
Good Morning OFF,
Today is a very busy day for me. Running errands, volunteer meeting at the agency, then therapy with my psychologist. Afterward, I have to get to the craft store and then the grocery store.
I just have to say that I consider each and everyone of you precious friends. I would love to meet each and every one of you. Speaking of which, Laureen, I can't make it to Barix this weekend. Jo, I am heading to my daughter's in Perry on the 16th and will be there for 8 days. I'll call you, if you'll be in town. There are so many more who I love dearly who I'd love to visit with.

Hi There,
Today has me just chillin!!!!! I am going to go and see my cousin who lives near Tampa tomorrow for her daughters first birthday. I am taiking Ava with me. We will be gone for the day.
That will be tomorrow. I was going today and be gone overnight but with my blood pressure so low I decided to go just for the day.
Trish I want to meet you too. One of these days Im going to make it up to Philidelphia again. I just love the history up there.
I am going to get my sewing corner set up soon. I need to make some Quillows made up for the holiday season for the kids. I hope to get four made or five made up during the month.
My neice wants me to come to Chicago on the 13th of Octoberfor my nephews first birthday but I am kind of grounded here for a while cause of my blood pressure so low. I want to go badly but I decided to just send a gift card instead. Plus I am not getting along with my sister now. She is being such a *****!!!!
She says I am undermining her!!!! I said what???? Why do I have to answer to her????? I am a grown women and I only have to answer to myself!!!!! Cause I Caught her in a lie and questioned her why she hasnt paid my daughter back on the stuff she stole out of our rental house when she shouldnt have been in there!!!!! She wet in the rental house when the reter wasnt home and took some thigs out of the house. The renter came home and found her in the house. My sister had a key to the house i case of a emergecy. I havet talked to her since january. I wot talk to her now. She thinks she is entitled to thigs in there since my sister in law died cause she did a house sale for us. Now we are selling the house to the renter and the furniture and everythig in it.
So now my sister thinks she can just ru my family's life includig my daughter.
Now I feel like I cant even go to family functions with her being there.
I wont even take her phone calls.
Plus I learned she rented a house here in Bradenton for the winter, I am so pissed that she did that!!!
I wish I knew the owner of the house cause I would call him ant tell him that why did he rent to a theif!!!! I think she did that to spy on me. Little does she know Im planing some trips to be gone for part of the time. If she comes near my house I wont answer the door!!!!!
Sorry for the rant but I had to get it off my chest. It has bee botherig me for a while, and I had to get my blood pressure up!!!!!

Trish....I just read your post from yesterday. As for your mom.....I am glad you will be talking to your psychologist about the situation. I think your mom needs to respect your daughter and SIL's rules/wishes in their home. You are in a tough spot there. Good luck sweetie!! I too would love to meet you and so many of you here on OFF. Maybe one of us will win the lottery and we can all get together....LOL!!
I bought the Crock Pot I have been looking for. I am so happy!! I love that it automatically goes to warm when it finishes cooking. No rushing home to turn it off before it over cooks!! Thanks again Vickie for the idea of where to get it.
I got my flu shot yesterday. My arm is so sore today...UGH. I feel a little sick this AM but hope that will pass. Last year I was really sick for a few days after the shot.
Not much planned today. I may go meet a friend for lunch but that is about it. The temp today is a high of 45 degrees and low of 22 tonight. I will not be outside tonight!!

Carla, family relationships are so hard sometimes. Our relatives will treat us the way they would NEVER think of treating a stranger! Very sad!

Connie, crock pots are such a wonderful invention! Such a convenience. Ours usually only gets used now for my DH's ham and beans, but when we both worked I used it at least once a week.
Well my daughter is DIVORCED!! Woohoo!! He got his check from her for $654,000, (which she has to pay back to her company), he is getting $4300 a month alimony for 8 years. He pays 35% of kids private school tuition she pays 65%. They share custody, no child support, they each claim a kid on taxes. She paid their two attorneys about $50,000, and then they basically agreed on the terms themselves!! He has paid her back $9000 of his attorney fees. She is happy to get it. She gave her 30 day notice here at this 2 bedroom condo she was renting and has found a bigger place. Her son is here most of the time and now he sleeps in his sister's room and she shares a bed with her Mom. He needs his own room. She will get the rest of her stuff from her ex's house on the 20th and then take another week to get moved into her new rental house. Maybe next summer when her finances are more stable she can buy a home again. The kids hate being at their Dad's. There are beer bottles and dirty dishes with old food on them all over. The toilets and shower are filthy. The kids bathroom isn't too bad, cause only the kids use it, but no one cleans it. He is constantly asking them what their Mom is doing. He called her to say he was thinking of going to Vegas, would she go with him. He called to say he was bringing her the check for $9000 and wanted to know if he could hug her! She said no to both.
One thing, she has just begun dating a very nice guy. I met him for the first time last time I was here. He had been asking her out for awhile and she was NOT ready to go out. But when it looked like the divorce was actually gonna happen she said yes.
The kids have known him awhile and have always liked him, but I'm not sure if that will change when they find out she has been out with him. The kids are still afraid of their Dad. The granddaughter left her homework there the other morning. Called her Mom and asked her to call the Dad and ask him to bring it to school for her! Our daughter was in Eugene for the day. She did, cause she knew her daughter wouldn't. When the kids stay over there, he doesn't even get up in the morning. They get up, fix their own breakfast, and grandson drives them to school. They are certainly old enough for that. But he doesn't get up because he is hung over!
She left for her convention this morning. I have plans all mapped out for practices, Carrie Underwood concert, Justin Beiber concert, Halloween costumes I have to make, goodies to make for the divorce party on the 13th and goodies to make for everyone to put in their freezers. Today I take my granddaughter to look for a dress for the homecoming dance. Oh happy day!! Nothing I like better than following a 15 year old through 15 stores trying on at least 15 dresses in each. Half of which probably won't meet the dress code anyway. It's a private school with very strict dress code policies. Luckily, her Momma gets to make the final decision when she gets back next week.

Lord have mercy, I survived shopping for a Homecoming Dress with my granddaughter! We actually got two dresses. One for the Homecoming Dance (for $34.99), one for the Winter Formal (for $14.99), in December. Sears was having a great sale!! Two dresses for under $50. Gotta love no sales tax in Oregon. I put pictures up if you wanna see the most beautiful granddaughter on earth. But I'm a little shakey with the camera on my phone. Shoulda used the iPad.
