Thursday What's New With You?
I got up extremely early, made something to eat, and fell asleep in my rocking chair. Stayed up late to watch the debate, and was too wound up afterward.
Today, I'll hop in the shower and then do my hair. It's so much easier than when it was shoulder length. Then head to my AA meeting. Not sure if I'm going shopping or come home and crash. I had my volunteer work at the agency and then the campaign office. Hence my need to crash.
Well, must scoot now.

I just got back from getting labs drawn. I feel like a pin cushion!!!!! Im getting like im hating going to Quest Diagnostics. They r getting ruder and ruder every time I go in there. What happened to customer service......
My hair is getting long long long. it is chin length now. I am loving it but it is hot to me!!!!!
It hasnt been this length in a few years.
Not doing much today as I was started on a new med and I need to see what it is going to do to me.
Im so excited!!!! My little Evan who is 2 is potty trained. No more diapers!!!!! Im saving money!!!!! maybe a pull up at night once in a while!!!!! He even tells me when he has to go!!!! We even discovered more bathrooms in this town than I ever imagined!!!!!....... He even discovered the tree in the backyard Thankyou big brother!!!!! You get the picture!!!!! You know how boys r!!!!!!
I know tmi!!!!! but it was funny to watch the 2 of them!!!!!!
Anyway I am waiting for my Medifast to come. i was put back on phase 4 of the bariatric plan my doc has protien shakes and protien for dinner and veggies and fruit. mainly protien based. So medifast fits the bill I cant wait to get the stuff I think it will help.
this prednisone is making me crazy. I am craving salt big time!!!! but Im am curving it cause I dont want to blow up!!!!
Well I need to go and revamp my dirty Car from traveling while it is decent out and not hot.

I'm up and still moving a little slow. Every morning I wake up with a headache. I've never suffered from allergies, but then I've never lived in the Hill Country before either. Maybe there's something in the air here I'm allergic to. This is not my normal headache. I'm thinking it must be sinus related maybe, even though I'm not sneezing or coughing.
I went out to feed the deer this morning--first time in a couple of weeks. The acorns are falling fast and thick now and there's plenty for the deer to eat. Anyway, my babies are losing their spots! They're growing up. Always makes me sad to see it.
Okay, I know we've all entered a tacit agreement not to discuss politics here--and I agree--but I do want to make a comment this morning. Not on the candidates or the debate, but on the comments I'm seeing on FB this morning. I'm FB friends with lots of young people (thru my daughters) and it's really shocking to read their comments this morning. I've always heard that people decide their vote based on a candidates looks rather than his record, but I never really believed it. OMG, was I ever wrong. The 20-somethings are all dead set again Mitt Romney based on his looks. They LIKE the way Obama looks and they DON'T like the way Romney looks. I've read comments this morning that he looks like "the type of boss that would sexually harass you and then offer you big money not to tell". REALLY? It's a little scary to watch this new generation of voters discussing the biggest political election we have in this country based on the candidates' looks.
Well, enough of that. I need to go get Benny. He's awake and fussing in his crib. He must have been really tired to sleep this late. Trish, I hope you stay home and rest this morning. You try to do too much. Carla, I hope you can work through the issues with your new prescriptions. Must be very hard to combat a craving that is medically induced!

Like you Trish I stayed up and watched the debate last night and since I don't like talking about politics I'll leave it at that. . . however, I could not fall asleep worth a damn afterwards and I am sure that I will crash and burn by the time I get out of work today, so I will make the noontime AA meeting and eat my lunch there.
Otherwise no big plans.
Carla, hope you feel like yourself soon and that you don't have to continue being a pincushion. . . you did make me chuckle with the boys and the tree and whatnot. . .

Just a few minutes to check in. I have errands to run. I slept in until 10:45....wow....I must have needed the sleep!!
Had a chat with my sister. Let her know I can't keep digging into boxes and pulling things down off of high shelves anymore in that garage looking for things. My pain is so bad and I just can't!!! She complained about the things we took off walls as I helped her do some updating in the house when I moved in. I went in her room and boxed it all up and put it in the garage. There....now she doesn't have to look at it. Why she couldn't do it herself is beyond me. Then I cleaned out the pantry as she said it was a mess. My side is very orginized.... hers was the MESS. I redid that for her too!! What is next??? Who knows...at least now it is funny!!!

Afternoon OFF family!!!
Well the meeting went to deaf ears with Randy...he is innocent!!!!!! BS!!!!!!!!!! Boss did NOT fall for it one bit! So we sent him off to lunch and he thinks he is off the hook....ROFLMAO I got an application in yesterday and we looked it over and we called him and he will be here tomorrow for an interview!!!!!!!! Little does Randy know we are working on his replacement!!!!!!! If this guy works out like we think he will Randy will be fired soon!!!!!!!! Boss is as sick of his lies and his manerisims (sp) as we are!!!!!! She is as upset over him talking about me "sitting on my ass doing nothing all day" Which is none of his business what I do she said!!!!!!!!! So Soon as we see how this guy works out and if he does work out Randy is history!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I am sure he will try to belittle us to this guy soon as he sees what he is doing here....Rick is going to be there to step in to block any talk between them period!!!!!!!!!!!! AND this guy will start out making MORE money an hour than Randy makes now!!!!!!!! So another wooooooohoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am excited!!!!!!!!!! So this new guy needs to pass a criminal background and police check and see how he works and he is in if he passes it all!!!!!!!!! YESSSS!!!!
More good news today...got my medicaid card in the mail and my surgery papers. Its all set now except the time. The countdown is on....Also got a card from one of the tenants today wishing me a speedy recovery...nice of her!!! Many are calling me to let nme know I am in their prayers and thoughts also!! Makes me feel good!!!
Well its time to get ready for the VFW and tonights drawing...hope we win...but not counting on it...seems we will never get our number drawn for this jackpot...sighs.......but if we aren't there we don't win the full amount onlt half so we want to be there...lol.

Sorry, I'm getting on here late. I spent a good deal of the morning trying to figure out my network and get the form printed out for Meals on Wheels. Then, when I got it printed out and filled it out, I had to scan it in. Let me tell, the chair that goes with my table is low and even with a chair pad and another chair pad, it still was low. I tried to get up (right before my physical therapist came) and couldn't do it; screamed and cried and thought I was never going to get up again. Finally I got up in a lot of pain, pushed over to my recliner to take my pain pill. About that time, PT came. We did a short workout and I got my flexion to 100 degrees.
So I sat down after PT and tried to find a way to email this form to my doctor. Nope, no email for Tri-State Orthopedics. I called the office and they said they don't have emails. I would have to send it snail mail. Well, by the time I sent it to them (which means I'd have to have someone come get it, mail it out), then they get it in the mail, send it by email or fax to Meals on Wheels ... I'll be able to drive again to the grocery store and won't need it anymore. So this is stupid. Why don't they have email access? My primary care doc has email access. But not a big office such as my orthopedic doc.
I did order some food online through Schnuck's (major chain that serves our area). I should get it tomorrow. At least that will give me some frozen food for awhile.

I didn'****ch the debate but read about it in the newspaper. Vickie, the thing about how the candidates look has been going on forever. Remember Kennedy vs. Nixon? Many felt that Nixon going on without makeup was the difference in that debate. We want our leaders to look good. Not necessarily the best way to pick a leader but oh well ....
Baseball season is over, on to the playoffs. Or football ...
