Judy.....if your boss doesn't get rid of Randy you need to let her know you will be looking for another job. That is crazy. You have taken enough abuse from him. I like Rick a lot but he has let Randy treat you bad and get away with it for way to long!!
Good Luck!!!

Hope Thursday is a better day!

Love and many hugs....connie d

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

I got home yesterday afternoon from the hospital. Insurer denied the rehab again, so I went home. I was so right that this apt. was not handicapped friendly, the kitchen, the bathroom, etc. ... plus, I didn't buy food before I left so I have nothing in the house. I had popcorn for dinner and peanut for a snack. Not such a good pairing.

This afternoon the home PT guy comes over, so I guess I have to get dressed. My cat was so happy to see me, she snuggled in bed next to me most of the night.

Anyway, that's my life. Have a good day.

Eileen....so sorry they won't let you go to rehab. That just isn't right. You live alone and need more assistance.

I agree with Vickie...."Meals on Wheels". You should qualify for that. If not is there a grocery store that delivers in your area. We have one here and they only charge  $10 to deliver. Call your church too....they should be able to help you get by for a little while. They always have volunteers to run errands and things.

I always try to keep my pantry and freezer stocked....you just never know when something will happen and you need extra food to get you through. I hope you can get some help.

Love and hugs to you.....connie d

Connie, I'm checking into Meals on Wheels; you have to have a doctor's order to qualify. I have to fill out a form and fax it to the doc's office today. Had to get my network back up and running. There is a grocery in the area that delivers. As for my "church" ... don't go to one. I think the last time I was in a church was for my Uncle Norb the priest's funeral. Just not the religious person. I was raised Catholic and went to Catholic schools for 12 years, but didn't buy into it. I'm spiritual, I think, just not a church going type of person. I respect those who have those beliefs.

Eileen...thanks for getting back to me. I have been so worried about you. Hope the Meals on Wheels can help you out.

I believe you don't have to be in a church to be a christen. Nothing wrong with how you feel about the church. That is your decision. I respect you for that!

Prayers, love and lots of hugs....connie d

Hi everyone!

Well it's so beautiful here in Carmel! Wish I could live here but that is out of the question unless I win the lottery! lol!  I go home tomorrow afternoon. Wish I could stay but I am missing my home and family.

Well I have a big dilemma...I have been on Vicodin for 2 years for my arthritis. I have noticed that it increases my appetite! If I don't take them I'm in really bad pain so when I do take them I get so hungry and over eat. This is not good! Any one have any advice I would love it.

Hope you all have a great day,

Big Hugs, Debbie

Have they tried you on Tramadol?   None narcotic and I thought it
worked better for my pain after surgery than the Vicodin every did.
