Wednesday Morning in Pennsylvania
Good Morning OFF,
Well, I got up way early this morning. Been busy, and got the dishwasher loaded and running.
Had a very busy day yesterday. Got a lot done in the morning, and spent a lot of time on the phone with my AA sponsee. Helping her reminds me of what it was like for me,, as well as what I was like way back when.
Today will be another busy day as well. AA meeting, then a trip to Target to see if they have cookie cutters for my cookie basket for the Special Olympics Dinner Bingo. I have a Target gift card and wanto see if I can use it for them. If not, I will go to AC Moore, or Joanns. AC Moore is like Joanns without the fabric. This afternoon, I have my volunteer work at the agency. Afterward, I am heading to the campaign office Then, home to watch the debate.
Must get moving.

Good morning Trish and everyone......
Trish....Hope you find the cookie cutters you want. It is nice that you can be so helpful for your sponsee. She will do great because you are there to help her!!
Well....last night a friend came over and we took most all my things out of my sister's garage. All I have left in there is my luggage and 3 packs of bathroom tissue!! As I was checking out MY totes to see what was in them I found my sisters Christmas Cards!!! I remembered she didn't have boxes for her things so I emptied a tote and we used it for her stuff. We even cleaned up her area of the garage. We brought the lawn furniture in to be stored for winter. I told her about the cards and guess what she said....."I wonder what happened to my old lamps?". Here we go again!!! It is getting almost funny by now!!! She was complaining about how much more trash there is now. We have to put trash in Green City Bags that cost more. The money I give her each month was to cover those things. I cook a lot and she eats out everyday so I do have more trash. Oh well....I went and bought my own trash can. I have friends that will take my trash to their place. No more using her trash bags!!! I am sitting here laughing as I am typing this. It is so CRAZY!!!!!
I didn't get to go spend time with my BFF Pam yesterday. She was having a really hard day (MS) and couldn't leave her place. She just wanted to sleep all day. Hopefully we can get together for a bit today. I need to go see her mom as she is in Hospice now.
Today the temps will be in the 70s then the next week or so it will be in the 40s and later on the 50s. I am so not ready for this!!
I am wishing you all a beautiful day!! Prayers for so many in need. Special prayers for Nan, Nancy, Aime, Margo etc..

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
Good Morning Trish, Connie, OFFr Friends. . .
You certainly did have a busy day Trish. . .sounds like today is more of the same. . . ever wonder how you did all that you used to and worked too? lol. . . I often think how much more time I might have if I didn't have to work, but I'd just cram more activities into my life. . . had a nice dinner with my friends last night and when I got home, I pretty much went straight to bed, woke up and will do it all over today. After work tonight I am heading to my DE sponsee's halfway house, as it is her bellybutton birthday and they will make a dinner in her honor, so that's my plan for this evening, then home and probably go to bed. Trying to get my rest.
Connie, sounds like you are doing all you can to stay out of your sister's passive/aggressive, complaint riddled way. . . OMG!!! how sad that she is such a negative person and I do mean sad, sad for her, as she must drive people away in droves. . . just glad you, for today, can laugh it off, I know it has to wear you down living like that, especially with your own struggles to stay on top of that depression stuff you live with. . . sending prayers and positive thoughts your way!

Laureen....this situation is getting so ridiculous....I have to laugh. No matter what I do she immediately comes up with something else!! She does not have any really close friends. Just the group that hangs out at McDonald's every afternoon...all afternoon!! They do nothing but gossip about the ones that aren't there. It is a sad life!! I can understand why it is what it is!! Thanks for caring!! I always appreciate your posts and all the prayers you send my way!
