Good Afternoon OFF Friends,
Spent a very rainy Saturday helping my son and DIL move into their new home. With five trucks and four cars they were able to get everything moved from San Antonio to New Braunfels in just about 1/2 of a day -- missed showers early in the AM & PM. However, wet carpets did happen -- air conditioner was missing the proper drain -- carpets near air conditioner were soaked. Quick call to the builder had service men on the way and by Sunday all was in order again.
Today is resting knee and doing laundry. Prayers for all in need.

Made it back from Ren fest and Cedar Point.
I found out that as you get older something can happen to your inner
ear. Looks like my Roller coaster riding days have come to an end.
My DD said this and I didn't believe her asked my doctor at a vist today
and sure enough it's true. I keep getting sick to my stomach when the
rides go around. You could drop me off the tallest ride stright down
and I was OK, just not spinning.It
Ren fest was great but, too crowded. This RenFest has gotten too
popular and family friendly. Used to be an adult entertainment activity.
Lots less people and almost no screaming kids. I love my kids and grandkids but, I really love grown up time without having to deal with
other peoples kids.
Any way that was my weekend. Now to start getting ready for the Atlanta 2012 Event. This will be my first time to an OH event and I can't wait.
I always wanted to go but with the airfare and all the cost no way. Air
Tran had a sale and I check just to see. The air had dropped over $200, they had extended the room and I got a discount on the ticket.
I would have like a room with double beds and someone to share but,
all I could get was a King. Just so excited to get to be able to go.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
Hello PV.....Glad you had fun this weekend!! Yes, those kinds of rides are no longer in my future. I am really okay with that. I did enough of that when I was younger!!!
I quit going to our Ren Fest for the same reason. I just feel there should be events just for adults.....other then strip clubs....LOL!! Kids get too bored and tired and crabby. They can't hold their interest that long. I too love my grandchildren but I would never take them to something like that. I didn't take my daughters either!

I was going to go to the obesityhelp conferance in Atlanta but decided not to go. I was going drive up from sarasota. but with being sick and in the Hospital in Denver it ate up my funds. so I decided not to go. I went to the one in Chicago three years ago and had a blast!!!!!. maybe next time. Carla
