Thursday What's New With You?
First, let me thank each and everyone of you for all the well wishes about my surgiversary. I am in awe of all the positive things people said about me. I love every single one of you.
Today, Utley and I had to get up to go potty at the same time. I love it when he and I are on the same wavelength. I'm sure I'll fall back to sleep.
I have more tidying and organizing to do this morning, as well as cutting the grass. Like I said, my landlord will be here tomorrow evening. I'm not panicking yet. I'll be able to get a lot done this evening. And, if worst comes to worst, I have tomorrow morning to finish up.
After I do my volunteer work this afternoon, I have to pick up my nephew for a presentation of a check for Special Olympics. from the local minor league baseball club. I went to the Special Olympics ball game before I went to St. Louis.
Hugs,
Trish

I wonder where everyone is this morning?
Benny and I are having an easy morning at Hilltop, although I do have to get started on some chores soon. We watched Winnie the Pooh and shared a bowl of blueberries, yogurt and Cheerios for our breakfast.
Benny told me "morning!" for the first time today! So precious!
His latest fascination is with flushing the potty. I just hope I can keep him from flushing anything down the potty! I kind of panic everytime I hear that sound coming from the bathroom!
Not much else going on here today. Counting the days until Butch gets home. Less than a week to go now! He's been gone since July 29th. I sure do miss him. I wish our house would sell so he can retire. Lord, please send us a buyer! Amen!
Hope everyone is doing well today. Trish, I am making my scarves for SOTX. I think Cindy B. is making scarves, too. I surely do enjoy that project. It's about all I can manage with a 2 year old in the house, but it does help me to relax. I love to crochet!
Love you all!
Trish....I am proud of your nephew....that is awesome!!!
Glad you are having a good day!
Vickie....I am happy to hear you are having a better day today. Benny sure sounds like a sweetheart! Isn't it great to watch them discover and learn new things. They get so excited!! Hope he just flushes to watch the water and nothing else goes in there!!
Thanks to everyone for the wonderful comments on my 5 year Surgiversay!! You are all just the best!!
I am finally feeling a little less pain today. After 3 days of that I am ready for a better day!
The Vikings play tonight. I pray they win this game. They sure messed up in the last two!! Oh well, I still love them anyway!!
I have a meeting today and am hoping someone can find me a way to move out of here. It may be a small very cramped one bedroom place but at least it will be MINE!! I have to make some changes!!
Pam's mom is having problems with very low blood pressure. It was 58/38 last night. They gave her two blood transfusions. I haven't heard anything since. She hasn't been able to get out of bed and we are very concerned she will develop pneumonia. She just got over that a week ago. She is less then 100 pounds and so fragile. Bless her heart!! I just continue to pray for her!
I wish you all a wonderful day!! Prayers for many in need.
Love and many hugs to all....connie d
Hello everyone!
Not much going on today! don't know if I told you all that when I had my surgery in Las Vegas my husband got sick and had a fever, so I was stuck in the hotel room with this sick person and taking care of him!! Yuck! So much for someone helping me plus my 16 yr old was at home also sick. Any way the other day he gets a sore throat goes to the doctor and is told he has Strep Throat! I can't seem to get away from sick people in my house. Knock on wood I haven't gotten anything.
Spent yesterday making some breakfast bites from eggface.com. Found a recipe for Wendy's Chili made that...it's pretty good. Also made some homemade hummus that also turned out good. Having a hard time getting in all the protein but trying. All the chewable vitamins make me gag! Need to start walking it's just so hard with arthritis in my back. I get half way down my street and I need to quit. Well I guess I should stop complaining I have so much that is positive in my life.
Have a beautiful Day,
Debbie
I couldn't stand the chewable vitamins either. Go to Bariatric Advantage and check out their multi-vitamins for RNY patients. You did have RNY? Doesn't matter. They have vitamins specific for all WLS. Anyway, they have a capsule that is so much easier to take. I take 6 a day (2 of them 3xs a day). Also, I couldn't stand the chewable calcium tablets. Ugh. BA has a calcium chew that is like a candy--soft and chewy, not hard and chalky. A little expensive, but so worth it. I like the chocolate and the raspberry. And just FYI, I really like their protein drink called ProJoe. It's the only one that I can drink. (Obviously, I spend a lot of money with BA each month, but I gave up cokes and chocolate and snack foods, so I figure the reduction in my monthly grocery bill pays for the BA products!)
You're doing great, sweetie! Hang in there!
Had problems sleeping last night; don't know why, but just couldn't nod off when I wanted to. Then I decided when I got up at 9 to go back to sleep and slept til 11. I really needed to get up and do laundry, but oh well. ... The sleep was good the last two hours, so I guess I needed it. Back is OK, knees hurt, but rain is in the forecast from Isaac. Tummy is a little off. I need to get into the shower and get ready because I think I'm supposed to be in at 3 today. Can't find the schedule but I believe I'm doing A1, so I need to get in gear.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi. Have a good day.
this 4 g network sucks big time!!!!!
to make a long story short. My daughter is going great from her spinal tap from yesterday. She will get the results on the 15th.
then they will start maintanance medicine.
I lost the regain weight I had gained all 20 pounds of it. I am back down to 135 and am glad.
I went back to basics and lost 15 pounds and plan to stay with 700 calories a day.
it works!!!!!
That is my story and I plan to stick with it!!!!!
Not sure when Im going back to Florida but soon. I think my husband misses me.

Busy at work and got a new computer order system for our diets so I had to go and cancel all diets and reenter them. Fun...well actually the new way is much easier!
Babysat the grandkids this AM as Rebecca had a doctor apt. She is the one with blood clots and is on coumadin. Well the doc sent her to the ER cuz she was having a hard time breathing. Lucky she was okay, not blood clots detected by the ER but those slippery suckers can get missed. I hope they didn't miss any thing.
