I would just like to thank all you here on the off!  I read here 3 years ago.  I just stumbled on you all again.  Just like before I find this forum to be the most down to earth positive forum on OH.

You all are so real and I'm glad to see all my favorites still here.  I never posted but, love to read about all your lives and relationships here.

Thanks for all your kind words and well wishes.

I've been banded for 3.5 years and have had medical issues for 2.5.  I'm getting my band out on 9/4/12.

I came back looking for support on the LB boards but, found the majority seem to be in my shoes.

I am unfilled and losing the hard way.  This board seems to be the most poitive and realistic.

Sorry that your band didn't work for you! Will you be having any other type of WLS?

Glad that you are posting with us! We can support you through all that you go through and if you have any questions there are many that will answer you!!! But you already know that I am sure from lurking....;-) So with that being said...Wishing you the best of luck on your unbanding and let us know if you are going to have another type done and when...We are here for you!!

I was in the process of getting OK'd for a sleeve when the insurance co implemented a once in a lifetime WLS policy.

I will be fighting them afterward.  I had verbal confirmation.  Than they voted in the new policy and told me I can't have revision because my doctor didn't put in for it before they changed the policy.  My PCP had called the insurance co the week before and they said I was already OK'd.

So it is a hot mess.  I have started looking into Mexico in case I can't win.

WOW!! That stinks!!! Hope you get them to pay for it!!! As for going to Mexico...you might want to contact grammylew on that one...I belive that is where she went for hers and its NOT working at all...
