You certainly have eaten or given cereals with fruit bits to your grand-kids, or probably think blueberry muffins or bagels are good for you....because they contain nutritious blueberries...WRONG!!!

I bought a new President's Choice Blue Menu granola cereal yesterday, so checked the list of ingredients and descriptive narrative, and thank havens it mentions "dried" cranberries and there are no dyes listed...so am feeling fairly confident about it.
However I am going to be leery about the half a blueberry muffin I sometimes have with coffee at work...if it's not home-made by someone I know with real fruit I will be suspicious about "blueberry bits" or "blueberry crunchies" or any other fruit bits or crunchies in muffins or bagels for that matter!
