T.G.I.F. Wassup?
Thank you all for your encouraging words.
I told my family I am OK with arthiritis, bad joints, etc. but I absolutely refuse to have anything wrong with my mind, my brain or any organ in my body!!!
I went and did my errands. Saw my Dr's PA. She gave me Maxalt for when I feel one of my bad headaches coming on. She thinks it is migrains. Also, if I begin to feel 'jangly' as my Mom would say, I should take a clonazapam, which I now take only at night for my RLS.
I got home before the sky turned dark and God watered my plants for me! All is good.

Good day, my OFF family!
Can't say good morning anymore since it is now past noon. I am not having the best of days today. My family has lost two beloved cousins this week. One passed on Wednesday and the other passed just this morning. My heart is sad today.
Sitting here waiting for yet another cable guy to arrive this afternoon. I decided to upgrade our service here and they have to come and install a cable box today. I cancelled all our internet and satellite services at the big house in Nac, so I can now afford something more than just basic cable here at the lakehouse.
I am hoping Benny and I can go somewhere for an outing this afternoon. I haven't been out of this house all week and I'm going a little stir crazy being cooped up with a 2 year old.
My vegetarian diet is going well. This is Day Three. Last night I made brown rice and black beans for dinner. This morning I had a scrambled egg with cheese and a slice of toast. So far, so good.
I think my headache is caffeine related. Or at least it responds to caffeine. I noticed yesterday morning when I drank my Pro Joe that my headache went away. It came back in the afternoon and, although I never do this, I drank a second Pro Joe yesterday afternoon and my headache went away again. I'm not a coffee drinker (and of course, I can't drink a Coke), but I've brewed some strong iced tea this morning and I'm going to sip on that today. Maybe I can chase this headache away for good.
Prayers for all our sistas who are dealing with health and emotional issues. Family is so precious, and you all are family to me!

I love all kinds of teas, but I drink it unsweet. I looked it up and black tea has about twice as much caffeine as green tea, so I used both kinds of tea bags this morning. Seems to be helping. I always did take Advil with a Coke to knock a headache.
I haven't been making tea here at the lakehouse because I don't have a tea kettle here. Silly reason, I guess. I need to bring my tea kettle from home next time.

Well, at one point yesterday I was feeling pretty good; this morning I feel pretty bad again. So much for the healing powers of Celestial Seasonings tea. I think maybe I overdid it yesterday. I didn't sleep well last night because I coughed and had a lot of post-nasal drip (even with a Breath-
Right strip).
One of my computer weather bugs says 75 degrees, one says 94. Don't know which to believe. I think it's 75. Sure doesn't feel like 94.
Not much else happening, back to work today. I need to get some cough medicine on the way to work. Have a good day.

Hello all my FRIENDS,
It's so nice to be back in Green Valley after 9 days in Tucson with no a/c except the bedroom. (thank the Lord for that.) Last 2 days 've been catching up with my Pampered Chef business and updating my pet sitting records. Mailing out thank you cards to recent pet sitting owners. Boy is it nice making ends meet AND actually having a little money in the bank at the end of the month!!
Now it's time for me to catch up with friends and do a few fun things, I am pet sitting right now until the 14th, but it is someone I've known for 8 years and am so comfortable at her home. It's 10 minutes from my home. She has no problem with me coming home to do some work as long as I'm not gone over 2 to 3 hours. Bridget is so sweet and makes me laugh. The only problem for her is staying up to watch the Olympics every night. She would rather be in bed. She won't go until I do.
Love to you all. I'm so far behind on what is going on with each of you. Glad to be back on my computer.!!!!!

Today is the first day that I really feel that Pam is going to be okay. She is walking better, not great, and no double vision. Numbness is almost gone. Thanks to everyone for all the good thoughts and prayers!! They have been so appreciated!!
I came home a bit ago. I grabbed something to eat and am going to bed soon. I haven't had any decent sleep in over a week! Every time I try to sleep it still ends up being midnight and later before it happens. Not tonight!!!
