Good Morning Family,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday.  I am heading to my morning AA meeting.  Then, I have to get home and do some cooking.  After that, I have my volunteer work.

I have been battling a headache for days now.  I think it's related to my sinuses.  It's been a week now.

I hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

Good mornin' ya'll.
I had my first panic attack yesterday. Wasn't sure that's what it was until our DIL came and got me. We were on our way home from Walmart. I had started shaking in Walmart. Was sure I just needed to go home. Couldn't get there. Pulled into a parking lot. Called our DIL. She and our grandson came. Helped my into her car, we went to ER, DH and grandson went home. I had seen both my sis and my mom have panic attacks. I thought 'they must be trying to get attention, surely anyone can stop shaking if the want to'. HaHaHaHa!! The joke was on me!! I got benadryl and ativan. Shots of course. By then our son was there. Took another 30 min for me to stop shaking and crying. Now I know what Mom meant when she said she got all 'jangly' inside. That's the last one of those I ever plan on having!!! I DID NOT like it one bit.
Now I have a couple errands to run and no one wants me to go alone. Holy crap. Will I never be able to go somewhere without 2 cars and a crowd?
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Ooooh, HUGS!  That must have been awful.  So sorry!  You know the old saying: get right back up on the horse.  Of course you can go somewhere by yourself.  It's gonna be okay today.

Here's a big hug all the way from Canada
You have had so much on your plate lately, I don't know how you cope.  I know that you are worried about your daughter and her ding-a-ling of a husband  -  I'm sure I would be, too.
I know little about panic attacks, but I know you to be a loving, giving, accepting mother and grandmother, and I pray that things will settle down in your and your daughter's life soon.

 Carolyn,
I've had a few panic attacks in the past. It might help to talk to your doctor about trying a mild anti-anxiety med. I take Buspar, which is not addictive. It just helps me avoid full blown anxiety. With everything on your plate, it's no wonder you had a mild meltdown.

Take care of yourself. You deserve it.

Hugs,
Trish

Carolyn, it must have been one of those days. I too got the shakes, but I thought it was because of dehydration. I was in Staples, mailing some packages and had been standing too long ... I knew I should've had some water with me, but I was just miserable. After getting done with that errand, I asked the clerk if there was some place to buy a bottle of water. He showed me and I bought a bottle of water on the way out. Chugged it in the car. Don't think I've ever drank a bottle of water so fast. My knees were shaking and weak before I had that. Felt better after that. All night I felt dehydrated. I drank several more glasses of water. I think I needed it because of the cold I have.

I have never had a panic attack, but my mom has them. She gets them when she has to travel mostly; she stresses out about it. The last big one she had was when my nephew was getting married and we were going to fly to Colorado. She thought she was having a heart attack and called the  paramedics to take her to the hospital. She spent the night there. We wound up missing our flight and having to book another flight the following day. It was on her credit card so she paid twice.

I'm so sorry you had a panic attack.  I've had a couple of those in my life and you're right about the shaking.  You need some just you time.

Good morning OFF family and Happy Friday!

Working the day shift today so it was a short night since I worked 3-11's yesterday.

Thank God it's raining today, my lawn needs it. It's nice and cool today too. If it stops raining maybe I can take a walk around the hospital during my lunch hour which is 1 mile.

Nothing new with me and no plans for this weekend, it's kick back and relax time.

Grammylew...so sorry about you having a panic attack. If you've never had one, it can be scary.
