I started a reply, but stopped midway because Utley's coughing was really worrying me, so I called the vet and now we're waiting at the emergency vet's office. 

I went to my AA meeting this morning. Had planned to go to do something at the agency where I volunteer, but can't. Also, plans for this evening are on hold till I get a diagnosis.

Hot again, getting boring...hope I remember this when in February 2013  and in middle of deepfreeze, we have coldest temps of the year!
Just closed up again and put on AC as can't stand the heat in my apt: 90F as no more cool breezes blowing through despite my NE orientation on shady corner...Was great sleeping with all windows and balcony doors open as a wonderful cross darft made it feel cooler last night for sleeping until about 9 am...

Tonight the casino on other side of river is holding start of annual  2 week international fireworks  competition, I only get go see the higher ones from mybalcony but have invited neighbour on lower floor to come and view the 30 minute show....she brings the wine, I provide the mixed nuts....

Holy Hannah!! My DH and I went out to lunch. Then decided to stop at Dick's to get our son his birthday gift. I THOUGHT I had ordered it online. But got no confirming email or deduction from our checking account. I think I used my old debit card number. The one that someone else was using, so I got another. Anyhoo, we got it at Dick's. This is tax free weekend here in NC. Only on school supplies. We tried to convince them that this $450 crossbow was a school supply. Nope. I'm not sure what Dick's sells that would be for school, but the place was packed. I guess sports shoes and clothes.
Then we went to Sam's for water and a new office desk chair for my hubby. He goes through them very fast!! He NEVER sits anywhere else in this house. I'm not kidding. He is in that chair 16 to 18 hours a day. He takes lots of naps in it. And when his legs bother him in bed he gets up and sleeps in his chair. He weighs 290 pounds, so his chairs need to be strong. Sam's was also packed. Saw our friends shopping for school stuff. He just got back from Afghanistan this week. The guys all lose a lot of weight when they are over there!
Note to self, DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE ON TAX FREE WEEKEND!!

ROFLMBO!  I just posted a very similar "note to self" on FB:  never ever go to the Outlet Mall on a Saturday in August!  And it's not even tax-free weekend here this weekend.  OMG!  It took us one full hour to get out of the parking lot when we were ready to come home.  UGH!!!

Hello everyone!
4 day on liquid diet, still hungry but not as bad. I went over 25 calories yesterday. I didn't plan my day very well and was very hungry all day. But, today is a new day, got up had a great smoothie and have planned my day out with my liquids. My daughter Krissy is 16 and she is having a boy over today. She's so excited! Husband and kids have vacuumed, dusted and clean bathrooms for me. I'm so blessed! Have a great day!
PS. I'm very proud of myself didn't think I could do this but now know I can.

Good for you, Debbie!  How many kids do you have and what are their ages?

We have 2 kids Michael is 20 and Krissy is 26. 3 dogs, 3 cats and oh my amazing husband Steve of 30 years.

Debbie, I sure hope that was a typo!! Only 25 calories for the day? Or did you go over your allotment by 25 calories?
You are gonna be soooo glad you did this. Keep us posted on how you are doing!

Whew? I was wondering what kind of doctor you were going to. I know doctors have their own pre-op diets, but that would have been really strange!
