Thursday What's New With You?
Good Morning OFF Family,
Today, I'm heading to my AA meeting. Then, I am taking my sister over to New Jersey to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy done. So, I'll be gone all day.
My last place Phillies beat the first place Nationals two nights in a row. Awesome games. Hoping tonight it's a sweep.

Hi Trish,
Today has me going to the Doctor to get a new thyroid prescription so I can head out to Denver either tomorrow or Saturday. I havent heard how my friend is doing. Ill probably hear something in a couple of hours.
Hopefully if all is well I wont head out till Wednesday, Cause I really want to stay put till then. but if duty calls I will leave earlier.
Anyway I am still in mommy mode. I still have my little girl here. At least she isnt driving me nuts like the boys do!!!!!

What a gorgeous Thursday this is starting to be! I love watching my hummingbirds. I have 2 that will share a feeder. Then the third one shows up. He is a bully and drives everyone else away. Then he just sits there, not eating, daring someone to try to approach.
Well, my son has finally been diagnosed with PTSD. DUH! Our DIL has known that since after his first tour of duty in the first middle east war in 1991!! The neuro doc has given him 2 drugs for his headaches that can have some scarey side affects. Trexamet and Depakote. Their main use is for stuff he doesn't have. One of the side effects is suicidal thoughts. NOT something he needs!
My weight is SLOWLY going back in the right direction. Not as a result of any WLS. I never was very good at will power! I have also gotten out of the exercise habit. I tell myself I'll get on that treadmill just as soon as I get out of bed. Then......well, I decide I'll have my tea first. Gotta watch some news! Then just ONE DVR show. Oops, it's almost time for our son to come for his lunch and a nap, better get in the shower! But TOMORROW I will absolutely, positively, get on that treadmill as soon as I get out of bed. A vicious circle!

Carolyn....I wish I could get back on track. I did so well when I went back to Basics. Now in the last few weeks all I do is eat and all the wrong stuff at that. Too damn depressed to care. Hope I too can turn this back around!!

I had a pretty good day yesterday until about 4:00 PM. Then I crashed again. Will this ever end? It has been 3 weeks now!!

Good morning, OFF friends. Long time no talk. I keep up with several of you through facebook, but have not been on here in a long time. I have done well with the weight loss, am down 123 pounds as of now. I am under the goal I set, but want to get down a little further to have a "normal" BMI. I know that the hard work is just starting.
Life has had its usual ups and downs, promotion and more responsibility and money for me, but DH is out of work. Kids are doing well, DS1 is still clean and sober after 2 and a half years, still living with us, but we enjoy him and he helps out a lot. DS2 is in Afghanistan, but is due to come home at the end of the month. I can hardly wait to have him back in the USA.
