SUNDAY WHAT'S UP?
Hello my sweet OFF sistas!
Just back from the airport, putting Butch on a plane back to Saudi today. Sigh. Ask me if I am tired of this routine after 31 years. I wish our house would sell so I could at least raise the possibility of him retiring!
Judy, hon, you just expect too much of your tenants and then you wind up getting hurt and disappointed. I know you are trying to build a community of neighbors and friends there, but I honestly don't believe that's going to happen. It's too bad, because I know you could make it nice for them, but it's time to let it go. Like Connie said, part of it may be that damn Randy always stirring the pot, but whatever it is, you're not going to change it. And as far as them not staying to help you clean up--that's ridiculous! If anyone brings up having another BBQ, I would just tell them that since no one would help with the prep or clean up, the BBQ's have been cancelled. You reap what you sow, yes?
Connie, hon, I'm praying for you and that the blue funk goes away. I'm so glad you got out for awhile yesterday. Good for you!
Did you all see the photo of Carolyn's new g-grandson on FB? So precious!
I'm going to try and stay busy while Butch is gone this time, or the blue funk might get me as well. I wish I had my sewing machine or my cross stitch or my crochet here at the lakehouse with me. I probably don't really have time to do much except when Benny is sleeping. But it always makes me feel better to have a project in my hands.
(Of course, I could always clean house! LOL! THAT would keep me busy, huh? LOL!)
Well, I'm just rambling along here, so I'll close. Think I'll go watch some of the Olympics and work a crossword puzzle or play WWF. Naptime is my only "me" time these days.

Hey Vic....sorry that you had to leave your man again...or should I say he had to leave you again? That sucks!!!!!
As for Randy here...trust me...I AM watching his EVERY move and IF we take this short vacation and he screws up even a miniscule...he IS GONE!!!!!!!!! As for the tenants helping me...they say just ask...they see me working my ass off yet they come and go...yeah...hurry and get out BEFORE I can ask....sighs.........oh well they just get in my way anyhow... :-(
Wish your house would sell also...this economy sure isn't helping is it?
