SUNDAY WHAT'S UP?
WOW guess things are keeping everyone busy this week...seems nobody is posting much. I have been busy watching my back and working hard for the BBQ we had yesterday for the tenants. That was the last of those. Done! It is a war between the sides I guess to see who comes and who doesn't. I give up! I put so much work into it and then hardly anyone shows up. Even those that had their name on the list! I am DONE! I cooked chicken all day friday just incase it rained saturday. Good thing because it DID rain...so Rick only had to cook the hot dogs on the grill. The handful that did show up had a good time and thanked me and hugged me. Said they would tell all on their side what a good time they missed out on! Yeah ok whatever...I just do not se me doing this again this year at all!!! I hurt in every bone and joint from all that cooking and cleaning and all the inbetween that went with it!!! AND when it was time to clean up...it was just me there...nice huh? So I cranked the music up and blasted it away while I cleaned up and had a good time with tears roling down my face I hurt so bad!!! Rick came in and asked where everyone was. I told them they all left and I was cleaning up. He asked where Carol was...I said she left like the rest. He said nice. Yeah. She is my friend here...was supposed to be with me watching my back so I wasn't alone there...Oh well nothing happened I am ok. Just upset is all. If you don't know why I am talking abou****ching my back, go back to last weeks thursday I think whats happening post and see what I posted.
Got the mail yesterday. Paychecks came. NO raise on them OR our bonus!!!!!!!! We are pissed!!! Come tomorrow morning I call my boss and I am blasting her with both barrels!!!!!!!! I have had it up to my eyes with this now!!!!!!!!!! We have now been here 9 months and STILL have not got our bonuses or our raises like promised!!!!!!! Talked to her friday and told her we were planning on a short vacation come the 9th and she was all for it! Well without this PROMISED raise and bonus we are NOT going anywhere now!!!!!!!!! We love it here and we give it our all and then some but come on....

Has anyone tried that gizmo they are advertizing on TV to hang things on the wall with? The nailer or something its called? If so, do you like it? I was thinking of getting one so I could hang my pictures up. Guess Rick isn't going to do it for me. Like I said we have been here 9 months now and I want this place to look like we are living here instead of just moving in....yes the walls are still bare...yes we still have boxes (but out of sight...haha) I would love to pitch all and start over fresh...like I can afford to do that? Yeah sure!! LOL
Need to do laundry so best get going. again sorry for being so down today.

Sounds like your tenants don't know what the hell they want. They complain about nothing being done then you do something wonderful for them and they don't show up!!! I still say RANDY has a lot to do with it!!
I went to my friends housewarming party yesterday. It was hard at first but then other good friends arrived and I actually enjoyed being there. Today I am staying home. That took a lot of energy out of me!!

Connie...you are right about Randy being in the middle of this fighting crap!!! I heard plenty more yesterday trust me!!! IF we take this short vacation next month and he screws up even a pinch...he IS GONE!!!!!!!! I already warned Rick and he is aware I WILL FIRE his sorry ass!!!!!!!!!!! NO more coddling him at all he will be done here!!!!!!!!!!! Sick of that (excuse my language here)...*******!!!!!!!! As for freezing the chicken...I gave it away...I was pissed enough not to even think of freezing it!!!!!!!!!!

Getting on here late, although I was up early ... got to make this short because I need to get ready for work soon. A little cooler today, 87 and kinda cloudy at times, so I opened the vertical blinds, which Juliette liked.
Talked on Skype with Mom and my brother Gary. Poor guy, he doesn't have enough money for groceries, had to get it from mom. He has enough to pay his bills and that's all. He had a doc's appt. and may have a growth in his throat. Of course, no insurance.
Not much else happening. Had a nice do-nothing day at home yesterday, actually fell asleep eating yesterday afternoon. Guess I was just tired.
Sorry your tenants are being uncooperative. I wish this place was a little more homelike ... they do nothing here. They were going to have a party to open the pool, but of course did nothing. Manager here sits on her ass all the time, as do the maintenance guys.

My brother has a spot/hole in his tongue and so the VA is sending him to Ann Arbor for a biopsy see if its cancer or not. Not sure when that will happen. Found this out just a few minutes ago. Sighs...what next????? Sorry that your brother doesn't have any insurance. Can he apply for medicade?
Alot of my tenants think all I do is sit on my ass all day...well they are finding out different now! All this is thanks to our dear Randy!!! If I sit on my ass all day doing nothing why do I go home so tired??????? I try to find things to do around here for my tenants to do because alot are home bound...no car to get out to do things. Sooooooooo I am not sure what else I can do now.

You are a good apartment manager; too bad your boss is screwing you on the raise and the bonus. Keep after her/him. I think it's a thankless job. I know the two women here have changed since I got here. And the maintenance guys, too.
I hear you on not listening part...told my mom same type of thing...apply for food stamps!!!!!! Nope will not do it!! Pride I guess....sighs..........would rather ***** about not having money though!! In this economy he better lower his standards...not much out there at all!!!
As for our raise/bonus it comes in the August check...which will be on the way here when we will be coming back from Michigan!! GRRRRRRRRR Just ****** us off big time!!!!!!!! But nothing I can do about it but gripe!!! Sorry!
Going to try a Chili Cookoff maybe October. See how that works out...not much work for me to do at all. If that doesn't work out...not sure IF I will do anything else.

I just drank a protein shake and got the urge to dump. I'm sipping a diet Coke to get it under control. I'm supposed to go to church, but this has me wiped out.
Today, I'll make an AA meeting this evening. Other than that, I hope to see a Phillies win. They are being slammed by the Braves, and I can't figure it out. They were able to comeback against the last two teams prior.
