Hello everyone!!!

I popped in here last November when I was just about to turn 50.  Maybe I was in denial since I didnt come back, lol.  I frequent a few other boards but it seems slow lately.

Anyways, I will be 7 yrs out from RNY next month.  I really cant believe that. Never made my goal but oh well.  Divorced, 2 grown kids and 1 g'daughter. Boyfriend of almost 2 years lives with me 99.9% of the time.  My avatar is about 5+  years old.  I have a nice pic on phone but dont know how to get it here.  I am an idiot with technology, literally.

I will have been at my job for 21 years next month.  August is a busy month.  That is when I met boyfriend also.

Anyways, just wanted to intro myself again.  I am sure I will return this time.

Welcome Sue and your not old at all. Age...it's just a number. It's how you feel.
Sounds like you are happy and busy! Again, welcome! Debbie

Hi Sue,
I pretty much did the same thing around my 50th birthday, except that I lost the bookmark for this forum, and asked someone who is on the Pennsylvania forum who comes here for the link.   Age is just a number, like Debbie said.  don't give it another thought.  It sounds like you are happy, and busy.  That is what counts.

Hugs,
Trish

Thank you Trish!  You are right about it being just a number.

Hi Sue,

I do remember your post when you came by last time. . . as has been said, age is a number and relative to how you're feeling and living, most days I feel like someone in their 30s thanks largely due to WLS.

As for technology, perhaps I can give you a pointer. . . email that picture to yourself, then copy it to your computer and do a google search for shrink pictures and you will come across a site that allows you to shrink you photo, to use it on this site, it needs to be 100 x 100, save the photo as an avatar and then you can upload it on here. . . sounds complicated, but is really easy. . .

Anyway, glad to see you here and hope you have a wonderful day!

Laureen
