Hot and humid here ... 94 and feels like 99 ... I left Louisiana and it feels just as bad here.
Slept until I thought 10 a.m. and then someone was pounding on the door. So I got up and it was maintenance. They are trying to find out why the hall lights keep going out. The guy wanted to check the breaker box. Fine. Then I looked at the clock and it was actually 11.
Got my lab work back. Everything looks fine, except I'm low on protein and Vitamin D ... can't figure that out. I take 2000 of D every day and I eat protein with every meal, even snacks. I guess I'll wait to see what the doc wants to do about this.
Anyway, not much going on. Off to work again soon. Have a good day.
Good late afternoon OFF family....busy HOT & HUMID day here today thats for sure!! Thought it wouldn't be busy but turned out I was wrong! Had to show apartments, they never showed up or called. Waited all day for them. Another guy that I showed apartments to last week came by and asked if the one he loved was still available and could he have it? I said sure if we get you approved. We filled out his application and police report. Waiting to hear back on that. Another guy that is late on his rent due to his SS check being late (so he claims) came by said he forgot his keys and could I let him in his apartment to move things out? Sure. Another guy that wants that apatment called asking if he was moved out yet...again I told him no he has til the end of the month and we do not know how much work it needs done to it. So he will be here today (never showed up) or tomorrow with his application. OK. Then I had to go to police station to file request for police reports on the tenant we are trying to kick out of here. Come back and had the repair man here for the washers that are broke down. Just getting ready to leave to come home the phone rings...I answer it...one of the tenants dogs is out loose and it bit a lady and she is bleeding!!!! So I call the woman who owns the dog and told her what happened...police and squad on the way here....squad take the woman away she needs stitches...dog can't find him...yet. Finally they find the dog. He is locked up til tomorrow when the animal control comes for him to put him in quarentine for 10 day! Not sure if this woman will have to get rid of her dog now or not. He is always getting out to run free and now that he has bit this lady....OMG!!!!!!!!! Then I also have the one we are trying to evict come try to pay her rent!! I almost took it...thought better and called my boss...asked if I could still take it or not. She said NO!!! To late now papers were served for her to get out!!! She needs to find another place to live now!! OK. Woman leaves called us a ***** Thankyou!! So that was my day and its not over with yet!!! Sighs...............
Did ask one of the tenants today if there was a clinic around here that I could go to because I had no health insurance for my pap and mamogram testing. She gave me a number to call and I did and I have an appointment for the 31st at 8:15 am!!! Nice!!! Just have to travel about 20 miles to get to it. I can do that...now if I can find it...lol. Hopefully tey KNOW what they are doing!! SO many horror stories around here on drs and hospitals....
Well time for supper going to fix lake perch and salad and hope I can do this...been a long time since I cooked real perch....LOL
