hello everyone...a very good morning...its 6.50 am here.just had my morning cuppa ...in India we are tea addicts... through out the day we have quite a few cups...with sugar substitute ofcourse...
My house repairs are still on...so boring ...still another week I guess...my doggie is confused...we have changed the front door...but she will stand and wonder why the door doesnt open...cute isnt it..

I just got home from the Tastefully Simple party. We all hung out for hours afterwords and had so much fun. I ordered a few things....wish I had the money to order everything I really wanted!! I love their products!

Hi Vrinda and my OFF family:
Lots of us can't sleep tonight. I woke up wheezing, a mini-asthma attack and my rescue inhaler doesn't appear to be working (when I need it ... I hardly ever use it). So I came out, took some cough medicine, had some SleepyTime tea and played around on the computer, watched one of the shows I had DVR'd.
One of the women I went to high school with lost her husband yesterday; he had esophageal cancer and had surgery a couple of weeks ago; he had been making some progress slowly, but then suddenly took a turn for the worse and died yesterday afternoon. Didn't know him; barely remember her, but so sad. Seems like we are at that age when people we know start to die.
Along with the wheezing, my body is achy ... I think I did too much running around yesterday, but things needed to get done. I didn't even get it all done; I still have to do a couple today.
Some of my lab results from yesterday are already posted to my chart online (and it's called MyChart ... it's cool that it goes online and I can look at it as it posts). My cholesterol looks good but I'm concerned about the ALT (liver) and AST (liver/kidney) numbers. They are on the high side. Will have to talk to the doc about those.
Well, I guess I should try sleeping again. Have a good day.

I finally got a good night's sleep. My dog, Utley, had been keeping me awake a lot lately, and that made for a very tired me in the morning.
Not sure what I am doing today. I had been to my sis-in-law's house last night for dinner and knitting. We had a good visit.

Connie, when we first moved here everyone was having Tastefully Simple parties. That stuff was yummolicios!
Got a call from the mechanic this morning. Everything that needs to be done with the car, with our 10% discount is gonna cost $1700!
You can't take it with you. But apparently you can't keep it if you get a few $ ahead! So, the guy calls, is gonna give me all the news. I say just a minute, talk to my DH. My DH says, no you go ahead. The guy tells me all. I turn and tell my DH, along with the cost, he says it's gotta be done. I give the go ahead and hang up. My DH goes into the whole: you should have asked this, I can't believe that is gonna cost so much, just because X burned up doesn't mean Y has to be replaced too. So I start to call the mechanic back, and I get, no, no, it has to be done I was just trying to have a conversation with you!! Me: well I have no idea about cars so have a conversation with someone who does, like the MECHANIC!! The other day when we were out running errands I got the: I would have turned that way and gone through there, I would have gone ....first. Soo, I pull over and get out my cell. He says what? I say I'm calling DIL to come pick me up, you can drive home! (He doesn't drive because of his diabetic neuropothy he can't feel the pedals adequately.) i was just making a suggestion!!
Sorry, it seems to be bash my DH day, and I know it's only because of the $1700 it's gonna cost for my car!!

Big travel day ahead. Not sure I'm up to it this morning. I must have slept wrong and I woke up with a crick in my neck and shoulder. Wish I had time to go soak in the hot tub and work it out.
As soon as I can get us packed, I have to clean this house on our way out the door. Then we're headed over to Waco this morning. Butch has to do some fence repairs at Carrie's house. She's still keeping Lulu for me and that little toot is getting out from under the fence! We'll spend a few hours with Carrie and then we'll head down to Hilltop. Hope we get there by bedtime!
