Sunday Sunrise- How are YOU?
Good Morning Nancy and OFF Sisters,
The antics of LilyRose and Oreo remind me of when I got Ellie and Madison. I had Madison for a while, and I brought home Ellie. Ellie was so tiny when I got her, she had to be fed a bottle, and litter trained. Thank God, I got her at school when a special needs student brought in an entire litter. So, my principal let me bring her to school till she was weaned off the bottle. She really couldn't say "No" because she kept a cat in the main office to ward off the mice.
Last night, I had to sleep on the couch. My bedroom would not cool down. I really need a second air conditioner. My finances have been a mess since my second trip to Michigan. As soon as I can, I am getting one. I can't take too many more night
I hope everyone stays hydrated and cool. I am drifting back to sleep, I have been taking Benadryl lately, because of the itching around the wounds on my arms. Benadryl makes me drowsy.
Today, I am hoping to wake up in time for church. I don't know if I'll be awake enough for worship this morning.

Good Morning Nancy and all the rest of you inspirational women. . .
What an amazing bunch of women you all are, full of living life as fully as your health allows, always focusing on the positives of life, I think sometimes of the many differences among our backgrounds and how this lifechanging surgery brought us all together and gives us the opportunity to draw strength from one another and share in one another's truimphs and challenges. . . I wish those of you, who have, or are facing lifes more serious challenges the continued peace and strength to get through them.
I have been busy with my family and it has been a most excellent vacation, first to Florida to spend time with my daughters and grandchildren there and we had a very nice visit, no arguments or bad feelings whatsoever and then home with Sami, my oldest grandchild of 14 now, to visit with me, her uncle and the youngest grandchildren. It has been fun, we hit NYC first and had an incredible adventure walking the city, seeing some of the sights and spending time with my cousin and her family, we missed the NYC fireworks because I wanted to see them on the Jersey side and it was not a friendly town for parking, so we saw lots of local fireworks on the turnpike ride home (lol), then it was to the Jersey Shore, where Sami and I spent time with my son and his family at the Shore house, we went to Ocean City to the boardwalk and the amusement park, where Avery wanted Sami to ride all the rides with her and Sami being a good sport, accommodated her little cousin, of course I spent $15 on a picture of the two of them on the baby roller coaster ride for me and Avery's Mom (2 keychain pics) and then we spent the next two days relaxing on the beach. Today we are home, it will be a shopping day at the outlets, as Sami has held onto her money, which I applauded her for, since she said, she did not want to spend it at the beginning part of her trip. She came to have pizza and she has had it once a day every day since she arrived (lol). Tomorrow we shall go to Philadelphia and Tuesday, my last day off, we shall go to NYC one more time to try and see what she did not see the first day. I will be happy to go back to work (lol)! Sami will probably be bored a bit on Wednesday and Thursday, as I will be at work, but on Thursday, my DIL will pick her up and take her to the Shore house, where I will meet up with them after work on Friday and then on Sunday she will go home. So that's been my busy ness of this time. It has been a good vacation and Sami is a lot of fun!
I see we have some new people on board and it is always a good thing, as this month marks 5 years since I found you all and while my life is such that I don't post as often as I once did, I know there are wonderful people here to support me on this journey and I check in as often as life allows!
Wishing each and everyone of you the best of life and peace and strength for those moments when life throws a curve ball.

I went out to a BBQ/party/fireworks yesterday at some friends house on a lake. Pontoon rides too! What a great time with friends!! After that my best friend called and said she needed to see me. She was at the bar/grill near to my house. I got there and everyone was there!! They all helped me welcome in my birthday at midnight. They were singing and we just had a blast!! Today My BFF is taking me out for lunch and then I will be with other friends for dinner. I hate birthdays but it sure will be a good one!
I love this board and admire and respect all you wonderful ladies. I am so blessed to have you in my life!!

As it is Sunday, I was reading the paper, calling mom (my brother is working at his pt job) and relaxing before I have to go to work. Juliette was out for awhile, then she went back in her hiding place. She is coming out more and more, though.
It is supposed to cool down here, but it's still 100 today. Don't know when this cooldown is supposed to happen ... tomorrow? It takes so long to cool down the car, by the time I get to work, the a/c has just kicked in. Supposed to be 89 tomorrow ... that will feel a little better.
Well, not much else happening. Off to work in a little while. Have a good day.

Well....as one of the new kids on the forum, its good to hear everyone is doing well ! I am having a quiet day, the family is out on the lake and having a ball. I can not join them as its to hot for my asthma right now so I am enjoying reading some and posting. I can't wait till I am on the losers bench with everyone.

Laureen so glad you having a wonderful vacation, kids keep you busy with lots of fun.
The heat wave kinda broke in Michigan, it got down to 84 and breezy in the country where I live and I even sat out on my porch for awhile after church.
Hubby and I sang at Hopkins United Methodist Church today and all went well. Met a lot of really nice people.
Daughter and new Son in law returned from their honeymoon to a house with fleas. Ugh!
They might spend the night at our house but Tinkerbell their doggie has been with us for more than a week. Now when I get home I'll have to make sure all the dogs are flea free. They haven't been scratching so I hope not.
Tonight here at work it's peaceful so far, yesterday was busy.

I was really concerned to hear about your pain. As a fellow survivor I went through many different drugs and treatments until I was able to find the right drug for me. Have you spoken with your doctor about the chronic pain issues. There are so many things on the market, hopefully he/she can find something to provide better quality of life. In the meantime please know that I am sending you good thoughts and wishing you the best.
