Thanks Connie, I'm gonna kick back and really enjoy Sarah's wedding.
Hubby says he's going to talk to the kids about their behavior and how disappointed he is in both of them. I think he should just back off b/c I think those 2 realize that they missed out of the important part of socializing with family and friends.

Sounds like an interesting wedding!
We went to our son and DIL's house for BBQ. I took my eclairs and peaches and cream cheesecake and cut up watermelon. My DH and I split a cheeseburger (just the meat and cheese), and some baked beans and pasta salad. We only stayed an hour and a half. It was hotter than Hades. They have a fan that attaches to a hose so it blows out a fine mist. Even that didn't make it much cooler. Of course, the men played horseshoes. That side of the yard is in shade by then. All the kids swam and some of the women. The rest of us sat and visited. My hubby, myself, Gramma O, and two of the wives that didn't wanna swim. We really had a great time, but 90 minutes is all we could take. We came home to our 69* AC. Ahhhhhh!
I am hearing fireworks from around the neighborhood. My DH is in bed and I'm headed that way myself.

Grammylew, it's just a little past 11pm and it's still hot outside here in Michigan. With the heat index it's 102 right now! Ugh...tomorrow will be the same. I don't mind working when it's this hot out and I'll be glad to go home to my air conditioned house. Lots of people came into the ER with Heat Stroke today.
