Summer Sunday Hello
Well, I had a big greeting for everyone, and it went into cyberspace. Argh
Today, I have to go to Joanns for some cheesecloth to make yogurt with. I also need a few more groceries that I forgot yesterday.
I'm struggling in this heat we've been having. I get disoriented because I have to wear my Progressive Lens glasses on the end of my nose because of the splint on it. Then, the heat makes me dizzy on top of that. So, I don't like going out. I do need a few things though.
I am struggling to get through a slump where my crocheting in concerned.. I don't understand it, because it is my grandson's baby blanket. My daughter made me wait until he was born before telling me what color she wanted it. She's the only Mommy who gets to pick the color. I normally get the color soon after I get the news there's a baby on the way. My daughter chooses nontraditional colors for a blanket, which I make the size of a crib mattress. The beauty part is, it could serve as a throw cover for the kids as he gets older, and if it lasts until they are adults, they could use it on the back of a couch, Lincoln's is royal blue. Izzy's is fern green. Franklin's is Army green.
I have to go. I'm getting disoriented again.

Mag and you posted at the same time. Did you watch the All-star selection show? I see Cole Hamels from the Phillies got on. Three White Sox ... but should be more. They're in first place, after all. But I'm happy Paul Konerko's on the team.
Do you have an ear infection? Maybe that's why you're disoriented ... maybe your balance is off?
Got Juliette to take her pills the past two days ... put them in pill pockets. So far, so good. She hasn't caught on.

Actually three Phillies were selected. Hamels, Papelbon and our catcher, Carlos Ruiz, who is leading the league in batting. He's not the starter, but he'll get to play.
My disorientation has to do with the fact that I wear glasses with Progressive lenses, which are specially ground for distance, computer work, and reading from top of the lens to the bottom. Because I have a splint on my nose, from the surgery, I can't wear my glasses on the bridge of my nose. So, I am wearing them on the tip of my nose, but having trouble focusing most of the time. Everything sometimes appears as if it is swimming and blurry.
Our Phillies are suffering terribly. One of our Ace pitchers has yet to win a game. Our bullpen sucks, except for Papelbon. When our pitchers do well, our offense is missing, and they usually lose by a point. Halladay, who had a perfect game two years ago, is injured. We just got Utley back, off the DL, and Howard is still on it. It's been depressing so far this season.

Good day all as all of you it is hot in Maine, muggy and getting ready to rain maybe.
We never know lol.
Not to brag I went shopping for trip to see parents it has been year, to many. I started with size 12 pants no stretch ' to big so I tried a ten three pairs all fit all different makers and styles. Left store doing happy dance. I thank Dr. Fang daily. My family for their support and the Off family for letting me read your posts.
