Name 5 things you are happy with from the time of surgery?
Name 5 things you don't like or didn't like?
Would you do it again?
Terri
Ok I will go first.
5 things I like
I love the new self esteem
looking for new clothes
being able to change food I love to foods I can still eat.
my health
being able to play with grand kids
and an extra one
being able to sit in a hard chair with out legs going numb.
5 things I don't like
the extra hang
I am not sure where the chest went but mia
having to explain to others that I am full
some of health issues (hernia ,ulcer )
they came out with pretty clothes in my old size.
Would I have surgery again?
You better believe it in a heart beat. It have been a life changing surgery. Makes me thankful every day.

Hi Terri! Good game idea.
5 things I like--
better health
have my mobility back
pretty clothes!
not feeling ashamed or self-conscious about my body
feeling "normal" again
5 things I don't like--
loose skin
having to take fiber daily
I miss COKES!!!
trying to find something to order in restaurants
traveling and not being able to find anything to eat except fast food
All things considered, the pros far outweigh (pun intended) the cons! Yes, I would do the surgery again in a heartbeat. Wish I had done it sooner.

Better health
Better mobility
Being able to play on the grass with my grandchildren
Not feeling ashamed of my size
Being able to fly without asking for a seatbelt extender.
5 things I don't like:
Criticism from Christians who think I should not have messed with my body.
Not reaching goal weight, which is my fault, nobody else's.
Needing iron infusions about once a year.
Dumping when I bend over with a full pouch.
Not being able to order dessert now and then in a restaurant, especially one with good desserts.
Would I do it again?
In a New York minute, I would do this again.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

It is wonderful that we all look at the health first. Being able to move and enjoy family and friends. It shows that we have taken control of life in a form. A pound gained or lost or a goal met or not are just a fact of life. Yet as long as we keep trucking to those goals we are still taking control.
Hugs to all
