Good evening OFF family, just bringing up the rear once again!
Busy evening shift here at work so I'm typing fast and just wanted to say hi. I read everyone's replies and keeping you all in my prayers.

I got all 125 mugs done today with writing in calligraphy Dani and CJ's name and wedding date on them. Made a cheap mug look fab! Then everyone can take the mugs home. Hubby couldn't believe I got them all done b/4 I came to work. I just tell ya...I don't like to leave "stuff"' on my plate except food! HA!

Gotta babysit the the kids tomorrow so Becca can go check her PTT/INR level since she is on coumadin. So far she is doing great on it and her levels are where they should be.

Tomorrow I'm off from work but will be back Thursday. Man, this week is indeed flying by.
It's suppose to be hot and muggy tomorrow and 104 on Thursday. Ugh!
I need God to water my yard Grammylew!

Hi Debbie,
I know how important the PT/INR is.  Mine had been normal, up until my trips to Michigan.  For some reason, it was off the chart, above 10, two days in a row.  They had to give me a Vitamin K show, and it still was above my range, but was much closer than it had been.  I am now on the Lovenox Bridge Therapy, since I had the tooth pulled last week, and the surgery yesterday.  Since I have another surgery on July 3rd, they are just keeping me on the Lovenox till the 4th.  Then, it will be both the Coumadin and the Lovenox till my levels are safe.

Is your daughter on it for life?  I am.  I have Factor V Leiden, a dangerous clotting disorder.  I have had a Pulmonary Emoblism.  So has my sister, and my younger brother died because of them.  All having the same clotting disorder.

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Really nice to see what everyone is up to.  I have to say that I feel like a slug because I don't accomplish a fraction of what you all do.  I guess I will go back to work in a couple of weeks and all this leisure (boredom) will be finished for me.
Tomorrow is my follow up visit to my surgery.  I can't wait to get rid of these 38 staples that have been holding me together!  I wonder how much weight I have lost and how much I was expected to lose.  I didn't get a goal weight or anything from my surgeon, but then, I didn't ask because I was really focusing on the possibility of getting my diabetes under control.  I saw my endocrinologist yesterday and he was really pleased.  He cut my insulin down some more and gave me instructions to keep cutting it.  He said he wouldn't be surprised if I stopped taking it at some point.  Well, I will, I have been shooting up for 22 years...
I hope you all had a lovely day!  Thanks for sharing with me...  T
