Good morning my OFF sistas!
Can't hardly believe I'm starting the thread again today. You know it's late when I beat the East Coast gals! Or our night owls.
Nothing much planned for today. Benny and I will probably just stay home and play today. I made him some home made play dough yesterday. Today we will color it with food dye and I'll show him how to play with it.

Good morning Vickie and all who post later. I've been on here for a while, just lurking. I am scheduled for RNY on July 17th. Vickie, I can so relate to you, I keep my almost 2 yr. old grandaughter every day! They are so much fun, but sooooo exhausting!!! I've also been to Nac several times, we have family there so I feel like you and I have a lot in common. I love reading everyones' posts and look forward to getting to know all of you better. Everyone have a wonderful Thursday, and stay cool!

Hello Judy and welcome! Oh, you are right. We DO have a lot in common. Not the least of which is that your surgery date is my daughter's birthday. Congratulations on your surgery. It was the best decision I could have made for my health and well being. Sure has made chasing a 2 year old all day long possible for me again. Not sure if that's a good thing or not! LOL! Come back and post daily, ok? I would not have made it those first months without my friends here to cheer me on and offer such good advice.

I'm so glad you posted and let us know you are here. You have surgery in a little less than a month. This is the best decision I ever made.
I have a five year old granddaughter, Isabel, a grandson, Lincoln, who's two, gonna be three in August, and a newborn grandson, Franklin, who was born in May.
Keep checking in with us, and I'll be praying for your upcoming surgery.

Im Carla and Im from Bradenton Florida, Im posting from colorado right now. I drove out to colorado for a bit to be with my gal pals. I missed them very much so I told my husband I had to go and cool off up north for a bit. Ive been here for over a month now or just aobut a month now. rutledge georgia. lets see it is near Atlanta????? I think I past it going thru on I-75????? My car air conditioner broke near Calhoun georgia!!!!! made for a very long drive to Denver......
Anyway good luck on your surgery. I know you will do great. I am 10 year out and have maintained a 150 pound wieght loss. I saw my surgeon on tuesday and now I have another Femeral hernia on the left side. I havent told my husband but I need to cause I want to have it fixed while I am here. makes sence to me to have it done here. and not wait till the fall. but Ill probably wait till around Thanksgiving to have it done. Depends on our finances.
I have to get my tires fixed today. I got tired of the light kept going on every other day. I kept having it checked and finally I said just take the tire off and check it. Sure enought I had a piece of metal in the tire.... So they had to patch it. i am so thankful I didnt have to uy a new tire.
More drama going on at home....My cousin who I watch the kids a lot has to move out of the house they moved into about 5 weeks ago have to be out by the weekend. I guess u cant live where u dont pay!!!!! they dont have anywhere to go....Noone will rent to them cause they have an eviction on their record and her husband thinks he can live for free!!!!! I cant be an enabler anymore......I feel bad for them but I have to do tough love. I told her that she can only drive our truck not him anymore. See I loaned the truck to them cause they only had one working vehicle and since he was drugging and drinking and driving and I found out about it. I told her he couldnt drive my vehicle anymore......if my insurance found out about it I would get into trouble. Plus it isnt safe for the kids.
