Its monday! hope its a good monday for all!
Good Morning Off friends.
Its been several weeks since I posted but I keep up weekly reading and prayers continue! Just get busy and fingers get lazy sometimes.
I Just got rid of one batch of rescued feral kitties and now have another I have to bottle feed then find homes for. that's OK I do love watching their little personalities develop and the feral cat situation has gone from over a dozen to just one mama out there now, our alpha cat keeps the males away. no one wants to tangle with Tippy the terror!! a lot of the mama cats have died off from a lung problem they all have and my stealing all the baby kitties I can get my hands on have prevented more generations from regenerating the problem.
I am hoping that while Carla is in Michigan this time I get to meet her, Hubby and I plan to go camping at Frankenmuth and maybe get to meet Phyllis and Jon as well! Here's hoping
Prayers going up from our house to all of yours!

Good Morning Jo and OFF Sistahs,
Jo, it's so good to see you posting. I'm sorry I was unable to meet you last time I was in Perry. My daughter needed me helping her from breakfast to bedtime. It was an exhausting, blessed time with the newborn.
I had a blast in Baltimore, though the Phillies lost in the 10th inning due to an error. It was a long, hot day. My son got us tickets 17 rows behind the Phillies dugout. This was a belated Mothers Day gift from him.
Today, I want to take the bike out for a ride. I have been lax lately, but really need to get more exercise. We had a pretty good walk to the ball park, and then once we got there. Then, after sitting in the parking garage for 30 minutes due to traffic, we decided to walk across the street to a Mexican take out place. I had a fajita burrito that was huge. I ate about 1/4 of it and brought the rest home. After we ate, Chris wanted to find a Starbucks, so we walked about five blocks to that. Then, back to the garage. Traffic was still heavy, because of a fender bender between a mini-van and a bus full of Phillies fans heading home.
I had asked my sister to come over and let Utley out to go potty. She called me to say the key I had given her wouldn't work. It had worked when I was in the hospital in January. Unfortunately, she didn't take her cell phone with her to my place, because my landlord has a lockbox on my back door, with a key to both apartments here, for emergencies, and I know the code. I have had to use it once or twice when I locked myself out. Poor Utley was beside himself needing to go potty when I got home. It had been 12 hours.
Today, I have nothing else planned, other than the bike ride. If I feel up to it, and weather permitting, I may take Utley down to the river to give him some exercise. I truly believe that he spends the entire day on my bed, when I am gone. I leave treats on my couch for him, and they are usually still there when I get home.
Well, I hope everyone has a blessed day.
Love to all,
Trish

Thanks for understanding, Jo. I forgot to mention in my first post how much I miss going to Frankenmuth. Colleen used to take me once every Summer I would go out there, but once the babies came into the picture, sightseeing slowed down considerably. I have been to Mackinaw, can't remember how to spell the island or the town, and love it. But, I absolutely love Bronners, eating at one of those restaurants that has the chicken dinners. Not the one with the giant cuckoo clock, but the one across the street, and walking down that main street, going into all of the little shops. I am sure I will get back there again once the kidlets get a little older.
Enjoy your trip.
Hugs,
Trish

Hi Jo, Trish, and all to come,
Good to hear from you Jo. Thanks so much for your prayers. I appreciate them very much.
Trish: Sorry your Phillies lost. Your seats must have been very nice. I hope it wasn't to hot and humid.
I'm doing well today except that I woke up at 1:45 this AM. Got a bunch of paper work done on a new pet sitting client. Meeting another possible client next Sunday. I'm already organized for that meeting.
My sis was to get home last night, but her flights were delayed so much she was exhausted. Didn't get in until 1 in the morning. She stayed in Phoenix which I glad she did.
Time for breakfast. Have a great day.
Hugs, Mag

Good mornin' ya'll.
Everyone is coming and going! Spring and summer are good times to travel. I hope everyone stays safe.
Our grandson and sweetie had a baby shower yesterday and it was great. When my kids had baby showers the Dad wasn't expected to be there. As a matter of fact they were basically not allowed! Times have changed. Not only was our grandson there, two of his high school friends showed up with their Moms to lend their support. They got lots of small stuff and lots of gift cards. They drove down here so they don't need to have to pack the car full for the drive back on Friday.
My Sis is getting a new left hip next month. Of course, she will have PT in her home for a couple of weeks, but then she will need to go to the PT place 2 or 3 times a week. Her DH has to drive a little over an hour to get to work. Even if she gets her PT appt the last one of the day, her DH will have to miss a lot of work. I told her to let me know when her PT will begin away from home and I will drive up and stay a few weeks to get her back and forth. She doesn't drive. She has a couple of friends that don't work who can probably help one day a week each. So after I leave her DH may only have to drive her once a week.
Rain, rain, rain here this week. That's OK. I have nowhere to go. And if I do need to go out I have an umbrella, and heaven knows I won't melt. The only problem is, my back yard turns into a swamp. But again, I have no reason to go out there.
Well, my son is here for his salad and a little nap. I better get movin'.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Hi Caroline,
Upi reminded me of something that happened at the beginning of working with my therapist. He insisted that I develop some sort of exercise program, because of the psychological benefits, in addition to the physical benefits. Well, it had been a rainy week when I went back to his office one time, and he asked about my exercise program, which then was just walking. When I told him I couldn't walk because of all the rain, he replied, "Do you melt?" I thought of the Wicked Witch of the West. Well, that ruined one of my many excuses for not walking.
I just had to share that with you.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
Trish
