Good Morning,
Be right back.  Must run to the bathroom.

Good mornin' ya'll.
Off to Costco to spend more money than we have, for more crap we don't need!! We can't get anything more in that freezer without a crowbar!! BUT we did get a rebate check for $32 that we MUST spend! It's the American way ya' know.
My Daddy used to tell Momma he couldn't afford to save so much money!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

I'm back.   I wasn't up very late.. but, I am still very tired.  Don't understand what's going on with that today.

Today, I will just hang out and clean a little.  Now that I have my bedroom vaccuumed, I need to put some stuff away, including two loads of laundry.

My Phillies suck lately.  They suck even more at home.  Sunday, my son, Chris, is coming from New York to take me on a daytrip to Baltimore to see them play the Orioles.  He wanted to take me to a home game for Mothers Day, but we could not get our schedules in sync.  So, Sunday will be my belated Mothers Day gift.  While I am at the game, I'll pick up a shirt for my nephew.  He's a Baltimore fan, not sure why, but he likes a lot of teams.  His birthday is in August, and I always try to get him shirts from my travels.  Since he is a Special Olympics athlete, he likes to wear different shirts to practices, and his friends always ask him about them.

I have about three loads of laundry to put away.  I also need to get my kitchen table cleared off.  I've got crates of books to take down to the basement.  I had them stored at my sister's.  I had put together quite a library of books of different reading levels for my students, and Sissy was storing them for when I changed school.  I never got them into my last school, so I sorted through them, and have almost three crates of upper elementary books, for when my Munchkins get to that reading level.  Some are like brand new.

Must scoot.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi Trish and everyone to come,
I am still watching a three yr old. My friends granddaughter. She is painting her bedroom and her daughters as she is moving back home to her moms so she can go to nursing school. Mom that is.
I am going to take the little one to storytime at the library then to Mcdonalds.
I am getting my car back. I cant wait!!!!!
I went for coffee last night with some friends. I havent seen them for at least 7 years. It was her 26th birthday and she just finished chemo from kidney cancer. She developed cancer after she had a kidney transplant from her sister. She is cancer free for the moment.
I m getting my car back today. I am so glad. they have my car for over a week. We were hagling on who was going to pay for the repairs. I dont know why they waited so long to order the part cause either way I was going to have to pay for either all of it or some of it. They had the insurance money since last Thursday!!!!!
On Friday I am going to the mountains for a few days to be with my aunt and Uncle. It is my step mothers brother and his wife. I cant wait to see them. I havent seen them since 09.
they are from North carolina.
Have a great day.

Hi Trish and everyone,

It's just now 8AM and I've done a lot. Got up at 5:30 after going to bed at midnight. Too much sports. I've fed all the animals at both houses, watered plants at both houses, talked to the bird, played with Bridget then she rested on my lap. I've loved on Bela, brushed him, made sure he drank enough. He only drinks from the tub facet even though we have a pe****er fountain and a bowl of water. I keep both of them fresh.  So that's my early morning adventures.

Saw the doctor. Sent me for x-rays. Told me I'll be wearing the neck brace from 4 to 8 weeks. Of course, if there is something on the x-rays then we will change the plan. I'm calm today. Will trust that it's nothing that needs anything but the brace and muscle relaxers along with pain pills for the headaches (when needed.)

I will be doing laundry this afternoon. Fun, fun. Other than that it will just be some paperwork that's not difficult.

Take care. Hugs to you all.   Mag

Good Morning Trish and OFF-

Well it's out 4th consecutive gray day here in Maine.  The daytime temps have been in mid 50's.  I'm getting tired of it but I know that I shouldn't complain.  Unlike southern Maine we have not had the heavy rains in this area, just showers and gray skies!

The stuff my mother shipped finally arrived on Monday.  So now I have three rolled carpets in the living room and a chaise lounge (think I'm going to sell it) in the living room.  The cedar chest and wash stand are in the living room of the other cabin for the moment.  Not going to do anything until I return from my visit to my mother in NC.  I leave tomorrow for NH where I will pick up the nephews.  We'll fly from there.  They stay two nights and I stay a week.  I need to assess her vision issues.

Finished the felted backpack I had made for my young friend in Texas.  She graduated from high school on Friday and yesterday was her 18th birthday, so she'll get a double present.  It turned out pretty well and I learned more about felting bulky yarn with this project.  I lined the backpack and made an insert to hold her cellphone.  She raised pigs for 4H and I was able to find some pewter pig buttons to put on the drawstrings.  Hope she likes it.

Yesterday, I went to the bank to cash in some savings bonds to replenish my hemorhaging bank account.  I like small town banks.  Have a seat Miss Barrett while we fill out the paperwork.  Came home to verify their printout against my records.  Found that they had overpaid me $30.  So I went back to the bank and they took their money back.  But in the process I got a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card for being honest.

So today is laundry day and weed pulling day.  Laundry so I can pack for my trip and weed pulling day because if I let them go for another 10 days I'll never get into my lilac bushes.  The lilacs are at peak at the moment.  Three years ago, my rentateenager cut them back to the ground by accident.  Fortunately they have come back.

That's it from Maine today ladies.  Positive thoughts to all of you in need.

We are back from the Virginia graduation. It was good to see my Southern Grands. Travis thinks it is neat to pick me up in a bear hug.

I missed our fur brats. My brother was overwhelmed caring for the two dogs. He's had 3 shoulder replacements so it is difficult to walk my rude pups. Guess they get boarded next time.

Tom has been put on 50,000 units of vitamin D for the next few weeks. On Wednesday we see the Dietitian again. I asked her to have a printed menu plan for him and not to believe him when he says he is eating fruits & veggies.

The following day we see the surgeon to discuss the two aneurysms. Last year there was only one but his BP was too high to consider surgery. It feels like I'm living with a walking time bomb.

The stress has worn me out and I have no energy for the gym. I know if I could get back in the gym routine I'd feel better.
