Thoughtful Thursday - SUP.
Good mornin' ya'll!
Just a quick fly by. Our DIL stopped by with a new project for 'us' to work on. As my Momma used to say ' do you have a horse turd in your pocket?' I know who us is! My DH does the same thing with any project that includes tools!
Our grandson and his PG soon-to-be-wife got here yesterday. They stopped here last night. He has lost a LOT of weight prior to his shipping off to the Navy. She gained it. Her 'baby bump' is adorable!!
Our son and DIL had gone to a party for a retiring friend. Not sure if it was because grandson got here earlier than planned, if it was an event they couldn't miss, or just our son trying to make a statement!!
I'm making plum rhubarb sauce. I also have a pork loin I think it will taste yummo on. Oh, and roasted potatoes and peppers. Maybe some butternut squash. Ummm, and oreo cookie dessert. All are welcome to join us sometime this afternoon. I'm thinking 1.

Mornin' Carolyn! Set me a place, okay? I'll be there! LOL!
How is everyone this morning? I am feeling much better today. Yesterday I just felt sort of "sicky" all day. Didn't do a darn thing all day excep****ch Benny and sleep whenever he did.
This morning I have to go to the store. I have a never-ending grocery list these days. Chris doesn't have to go into wor****il 3:30 p.m., so I can have a little me time today.
Chris has both Sat and Sun off, so we're trying to decide what we might do fun over our weekend. It'll have to be cheap fun, since I'm pretty much broke these days, but that's okay. We're thinking of going to the Farmer's Market on Sat morning. This one has fresh produce, crafts, live music, etc. Only we'll have to get up and go very early in the day. Supposed to hit 99 degrees this weekend. On Sunday we're planning a trip to "the Blue Hole"--a swimming hole over in Wimberly. It has a wonderful shaded park for picnics. We can take a blanket and a picnic lunch and go make a day of it with Benny. More cheap fun!
I think Benny and I might go to the community pool this afternoon. We haven't been yet. I was going to take him yesterday, but I didn't feel well.
I hope you all have a great day! I read all the posts every day, but sometimes it's late at night, and I don't post. But I've got to keep up with all my sistas!

As for me....I went out for a bit last night to listen to a 70's tribute band...WOW were they awesome! My foot is hurting more today. It wasn't propped up enough and it is more swollen again. I will stay off it today!

, developed an instant dislike to Annie 
. For new folks, Annie is a lovable, mean, witch.
He barks at her and if that doesn't work, he bays ... loudly! Such noise from a small pup.
Annie, Baxter and Jerry all want to sit on my lap at the same time. They don't fit. Annie has always had my lap at the computer. I put two beds next to my desk and the dogs are kind of okay with the arrangement.

I've been very busy since I got up this morning. A friend from church needed to use my scanner/copier/printer, and we have been visiting this afternoon. My Phillies lost again. I am so disappointed. They win more on the road than at home, so I am hoping they keep winning in Baltimore when my son takes me there on Sunday to see a game.
Tonight, I plan to take Utley for a walk, and chill out at home. Nothing exciting.

Good evening OFF family.
I'm asking for prayers today. My youngest stepdaughter is in the hospital with 2 blood clots next to her lung. She is at Metro (Grand Rapids) on the cardiac floor and that's good. We have her eldest daughter Rozzie with us and hubby is off the rest of the week anyway. Remi is with his dad this week and her 2 babies Loulabelle and David are with their other grandparents in White Hall.
