Carla, so glad you got to Colorado safely. Enjoy your visit there. I've never been there myself, but my son says it is gorgeous.
Judy, so happy your son is visiting. I am always thrilled when my kids are here. As for Rick's Mom, she sounds like she has some mental health issues. In AA, we have a saying about people. "Some are sicker than others." Try to focus on enjoying your visit with your son, and don't fret about her. She's not worth the energy.
Me, I missed church because I finally got a good night's sleep, and woke up late. I took a Benadryl, which is the main ingredient in Sominex and Nytol. I woke up later than ever, and finally feel normal.
It looks like rain here. We're supposed to go to 85 degrees, with scattered thunder showers. Utley hates thunder. It terrifies him, and he gets on my lap and trembles.
I hope everyone has a blessed day.
Hugs,

Carla, glad you got there safely, even if you were VERY hot. Hope you get that AC fixed quickly. Have a great visit and a safe trip home next month.
Judy, it is wonderful that your son and his girlfriend are there for a visit. I hope Rick's Mom comes to enjoy the good food and a good visit. If she doesn't make it....don't let her turn your weekend sour. She WINS, if she gets a rise out of you! Don't waste your time on her.
That is the policy my daughter is taking. Yesterday she asked her almost ex if he expected her to give up her happiness to move back in with him to make him and their son happy? He said yes. She said she was sorry. She loves her kids with her whole heart, but this is what she HAS to do to make herself happy. She knows her son will look back when he 'grows up' and realizes she did the right thing. He texted back.....you're selfish. She is being calm and positive. That is one way I can tell how happy she is, and that this is the right thing for her and the kids. After the latest volley of nasty texts and calls from the 'ex', my daughter has decided not to go over and get more of her clothes today. She knows there will be drama. She will just drop her daughter off so she can spend the night with her Dad.
I really like my granddaughter's boyfriend. He is very polite and willing to help (like carrying groceries, rinsing his dirty dishes and putting them in the dishwasher). They are doing the whole, celebrating each month 'anniversary'. She bakes him cookies and updates their ongoing scrapbook she is making. He brings her flowers, or balloons. Cute. It also gives her someone to talk to since he splits his time between his divorced parents.
Better get a wiggle on. Today a few more groceries for tomorrows BBQ, then look for some patio furniture. She has a coupon for 10% off at a local place, they are also having a 20% off sale, and a friend's Mom gets a 20% employee discount. Sooo, we can get some stuff for 50% off! Our kinda bargain!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!
We are still here at the big house, whittling away at that pesky to-do list! Most of it is my husband's stuff to do, but I'm helping anyway I can. I so want out of here tomorrow! Mom is here helping me with Benny today, so I'm able to be pretty productive. Still it doesn't feel like we'll ever, ever fini**** all.
Happy to hear about everyone. I do so miss you all when I can't get on the computer every day.
Love you all!
Hope you all are having a great and blessed day.
