The end of my workweek, the beginning of a 3-day weekend and I am getting closer to the 5 year post-op mark and my plan for today, which I intend to stick with, as yesterday I went off a bit. . .

B:  W/W gutted everything bagel, lite cream cheese and lox

S:  Yogurt with Kashi sprinked in

L:  Leftover steak and baked sweet potato

S:  Fennel with cheese

D:  Seafood made in a red sauce that I cooked the other night

S:  Peach or Klondike bar

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

We are all different, I plan because I was taught that planning alleviates making seat of the pant decisions that might not be good for me.  I don't know your status, whether you still work, are retired or an at home person, but for me, my work week goes smoother if I plan for it, however, I am less prone to planning on the weekends when I am on the go, go, go. . . .

I also do this post, as I said yesterday, so that others can get an idea of what life further down the line looks like. . .  and the accountability factor of it as well.

I appreciate your participation and thanks for being here!  Hope you have a great day, weekend!

Laureen

You are right!  When I work (3 days a week) I do plan.  I work four hours and bring a protein bar, hard boiled egg and a fruit.  Just hoping I can control myself if I need to stop at the grocery store.
I'm home today, so spending time on the iPad...lazy!
Have a good weekend, Linda

Linda....I found that if I drink a bottle of water and then grocery shop I do much better....just my opinion.

I haven't posted menus in ages. I'll try to do better planning, eating and posting. Water consumption has been lacking. Fact is, I've gone to Hell in a hand-basket for everything.

B - 1/2 c cottage cheese, 1/4 c berries, sprinkle of Kashi
L - 2 scrambled eggs, slice of rye toast
D - There is left over pork roast in the fridge, maybe I'll have a slice of pork and some broccoli

Water - better than yesterday but still not enough
