Good Morning,
Nobody has posted yet?  Well, I am heading out in half an hour to a brunch with some ladies from church.  Then, I have to get gas for my car.  When I get home, I have to get my bedroom organized.  Since my trips to Michigan, it has gone way out of control.

I hop everyone is having a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi Trish and all to follow,
Cochise and I walked about 1.75 miles today. We were both hot and tired. I took 2 bottles of water. We drank it all. TOO HOT. Can't figure how to carry another bottle. The fanny pack holds poop bags, comb for burrs, and 2 bottles max.
I will be tackling my bedroom tomorrow. Ellen invited 20 people over on Sunday. She said she is doing everything. I told her I would clean her bathroom for $10.00. She's thinking about it. I know I'll end up doing it so I might as well try to get some cash out of it. I love her, but we have different priorities. LOL Keeps things interesting.
Take care and God bless us each and every one.    Mag

Good morning Trish and everyone ....

I guess I am the "everyone" as I am the first reply and it is 11:50AM. Wow....where  are the rest of the group???

Trish....I hope you had a nice brunch with your friends!!

I spent the morning making up flower arrangements for the cemetery...Memorial Day is just around the corner!!

That is about all I have planned so far today. Cloudy and possible rain today. Still the temps will be close to 80.

Wishing you all a great day!  Prayers for many in need.

Love and many hugs to all....connie d

Got back home in Ottawa at 9.30 pm local time last night, was 3.30 am French time. So today am jetlagged and feel empty headed......Was in St. Remy de Provence for almost 3 weeks ( well, truthfully only 19 days!). Have been there before but this time took 2 (younger than I) sisters, one of whom had never traveled by plane before, the other only on her third trip to Europe..

It was interesting to see things through their eyes, as I have been there about 5 times before, so know it sort of ( managed to get lost on way in from Marseilles airport, hence the reference to the "scenic route" in the blog by the younger sister)....Rather than summarize the whole experience myself, decided to include a link to the blog of the "never before traveled sister" as her impressions are refreshing and real...excuse some misspellings of local names, and she does include a few words in French on her site...Enjoy if you are interested... ( hint:  I am the one that doesn't eat carbs, and am the Jennifer mentioned in the blog)  Here is her first posting:...and see the rest by clicking on "NEWER POSTS" at:

PS I am not in any of the pics, but took the ones of the 2 sisters together on their trip...(and yes, one is much heavier than the other but is a serious celiac who still loves her glutenfree carbs..I am slowly trying to "work" on her to change her ways) .
Also, neither of the sisters know I've had RnY so please don't post on the knitting sister's site saying you read a link I posted here on OH...Please help me stay in the closet about my surgery...Thanks for respecting my privacy, as so many of us post here thinking it relatively safe to vent and to share among surgery sistas...I am choosing to share our trip to Provemce through the eyes and blog of the younger sister, who also owns a yarn shop and is a knitter.but don't tell her you read all bout the trip on here!  Thanks.

Fly Me to St Rémy

All I can say is, thank God for alcohol in airports… After the first security check point, I must say I was a little rattled. As it turns out, having newly manicured lengthened nails for my vacation looks good but is a pain in the arse when you are desperately trying to maneouver a heavy bag and open zips in front of an unsympathetic security officer. Gulp! Truth be told, Ottawa airport security is wicked. I half wished I had left my laptop at home at that very moment…but now that I am here, it is so much fun blogging about my trip! That first plane we boarded was small. It felt like a school bus to me and was noisy to boot. Scared the crap outta me! My sister had to hold my hand during take-off because I really freaked out. I don’t like going fast on snowmobiles or motor boats so you can imagine the terror of those first 5 minutes I thought surely we might crash. That called for two more drinks in the next airport...

getting ready for us!

I love the trees and flowers here. Everywhere I look there is a breath taking bloom or a gorgeous knobby Tilleul and a pointy Cypress. We rented a car at the airport and drove to the house, um, the longish scenic way… ahem! Let me tell ya, every road here apparently leads to Cavaillon.   Another thing I discovered, I do not like toll highways. We are so lucky back home! I think I will kiss the free Highway 50 when I get back."

Be sure to go to "newer posts to see the unfolding of our stay in Provence...with photos...

I'll have to check the blog out later. The trip sounds fun even though traveling (getting there) never is. Because of my knee replacement, I hate air travel ... I get the full pat-down. As much as I would love to go to Europe, I have a feeling I'll never get there. I'll have to live vicariously through you and others.

Loved the blog and the beautiful pictures of Provence.  It looks just like everyone says it does.  This year I'm going to Ireland, both Northern and the Republic.  However, next year, Provence,
ici je viens!

Loved the picture of the woman who wouldn't get out of the way of the camera  -  ha, ha
PS  the blog was interesting
