Manic Monday What's Up?

Greetings OFF Family,
Good Morning.  I got up early, again.  I then fell asleep in my rocking chair.  My sleep has been poor.  My sinuses are annoying me.  The surgery can't come soon enough.  I begged for an earlier date, but the soonest they could give me was June 4th.

Today has me heading to the lab to get my INR checked.  Since my first trip to Michigan, it has been way off.  The INR indicates my blood's ability to clot.  Once that is done, I can come home and try to tidy some more.  I am so disorganized.  I have clutter all over the place.

Must get moving.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning Trish and OFF-

I'm up early for me today.  I've already had one round in the garden battling black flies while splitting hostas.  Had to come in for breakfast and morning meds.  Will go back when I finish this post.

Planning on gardening as long until it rains which is scheduled for later in the week.  I'm reorganizing my shade garden with the split hostas.  Got some bulbs, astilbe and dutch iris to plant.  Later this weekend I'll pick up my flower boxes from the woman who plants them for me.

I was starting to stress about everything that I think I have to do around the cabins.  So I sat down and made a list.  Then I sat and read a book.  Took a lazy day in other words.

My gastritis seems to be resolving itself on its own with out the Prevacid that the doctor prescribed.  Don't know if it was the stress of having the appointment with her or change in physical location, but it seems to be getting better.  Maybe it was something I ate last week that triggered it.  A definate puzzle.

Not much else going up here in sunny Maine.  We've had some glorious weather the last few days and everything is drying out.  I'm in charge of our road which is a dirt road.  I send the letters out to all the neighbors, collect the money and hire the guy to grade the road three times during the summer.  In August we haul about 20 loads of gravel to build the road up.  So I have those letters printed and ready to mail this week.

Positive thoughts to all of you who need them.

Cindi

PS - Vickie- Hope you will consider hiring a part time helper to help you take care of Benny.  You have so much on your plate as it is, give yourself a break to have me time.

Hey Cindi,

Believe me, if I knew a teenager or a college student out on break, I would hire her in a minute!  I just can't think of anyone.  But my SIL is coming to help on Thursday, and my mom comes over for a few hours every day.  So I'm doing okay--as long as I don't get sick again!  Lord-a-mercy, that was a bad break last week!  I never get sick, you know?  Healthy as a horse 99% of the time.  So why I got all those dizzy spells last week is a mystery to me.

Maine sounds so pretty!  Maybe I can get up there to see it all one day.  Don't know about those black flies, though!  I've never encountered them.

Love ya!

Vickie-

Those nasty black flies bit me today while I was gardening.  I finally gave up and came inside.  It was like I was a planet in the solar system and they were these evil moons rotating around my body! You do not want to encounter a black fly.  I don't react to mosquitoes but black flies make me react.  As soon as the dragonflies emerge up here the blackflies will depart.  It's usually only 2 weeks of misery before we are rid of them.

You and Butch are more than welcome to come for a visit.  I have a seperate cabin for my guests.  It has a kitchen, bathroom and living room.  No phone or television.

Still hope that when you get back to the Hill country you find someone who can come in to babysit once in a while or a daycare facility that will give you some me time.  That's important too.

Good morning Trish!

Ha!  I have clutter all over the place too!  Once I finished cleaning a room from top to bottom, I try to shut the door and FORBID anyone from entering it again!!!  I only have the time and energy to do this once, you know?  No doubling back and cleaning a room again.

I have about 30 minutes to myself this morning, so I'm checking emails, FB, OFF.  It's wonderful to just sit here at the computer and do NOTHING at all for even just a minute.  I am so freakin' tired, and it's only 8:30 a.m.  I've just got to hang tough for a few more days.

Today is my day to paint.  I have a lot of nail holes to spackle and then do a little touch up painting in each room.  I also have to paint the kitchen island (which I'll save for Benny's naptime), and we put a new back door in between the garage and the patio that has to be painted also.

Then this afternoon I have to take my little Patty Kate to the vet for allergy testing.  That poor little thing is just about to bite and scratch herself to death.  I've tried changing her food, etc., but none of the regular fixes seem to be working.  It's time to have her tested and find out exactly what it causing all this itching!

Well, I need to scoot!  Please say a prayer for Butch and I to have the strength to do everything we need to do this week.  We are tough old birds, but we are both so exhausted.  We wake up tired every morning!  LOL!  That's no good, huh?

Love you all!

Good mornin' ya'll.
Well, got the grandson here. Made him put everything in the back bedroom and he promised to go through everything when hie gets up today. What to mail, what to take in suitcases, what to go to Goodwill. This morning I went through most of it all myself. He has his regular duffle bag in his bedroom and I KNOW it is full of dirty, smelly, clothes. The Academy did no laundry for the last 2 weeks!! The first thing I did when I got there Friday was take him to WM for clean unders and socks!! This morning I took his dress uniform coat, hat and sword to Postal Annex to have them pack and ship. It cost 75 freakin' $!!
I have to get into travel mode. Tomorrow is my DIL's surgery I will be there for. Then Wed I leave for Oregon for 10 days!! I have to divide up a few more weeks of pills to last my DH until I get back!!
I hope everyone is feeling better. Prayers to all who need them!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!
