Thursday What's Happening?
Good Morning OFF Family,
I was so busy yesterday, I couldn't check in. Between helping my daughter with the kids, and chores, and taking her into town shopping, we were busy. The baby is feeding every two to three hours, and he takes an hour to eat, so she is sleep deprived. I help with the older two, taking Izzy to school and playing with Lincoln. I am also helping with the chores, as much as I can.
Yesterday, we went into town to find yarn, thank you notes and diapers. She got some bargains on the diapers and thank you notes at Target. We had to go to Williamston, another town, to a yarn shop for the right yarn. The yarn shop was right above an old fashioned candy shop. So, I gave each of the kids a dollar to buy candy. They loved it. They got to keep the change for their Disney banks. They are going to Disneyworld at Christmas.
Today, I will be taking Isabel to preschool and playing with Lincoln this morning. Then, babysitting the baby and Lincoln because Mommy is going to a Mothers Tea at school.

Good mornin' ya'll.
Trish, sounds like you need roller skates!! Or a clone! Those little ones can keep you hopping, no doubt about it. But I bet you are really enjoying yourself. Have you gotten your aches and pains under control, or are you just 'playing' through it?
Yesterday our daughter delivered the doll clothes I sent to the girls I made them for. Their Mom had told them I had made them an outfit and a baret. From the pix I was sent via e-mail, you can see the girls were overjoyed!! Everything fit, except the princess dress. Well it fit, but the straps were too long. I told my daughter I hope she gets custody of the sewing machine so I can fix them when I am there in a couple of weeks. If not, a needle and thread will work.
Yesterday I made three bathrobes, another set of jammies, and some simple shorts to be worn with some of the other stuff. Today I tackle the wedding dress. It is all cut out except the sleeves, I wanted to wait and see if the sleeves on the stuff I sent were the right length.
Tons of rain last evening! Everyone says we need it, bit I don't need it. I love to hear a thunderstorm. I like a nice gentle rain. But those 'gulley washers' just make my backyard a swamp! Which, of course, attracts mosquitoes! Our yard guy says we are losing dirt in the front yard a little at a time. We have a slope to a ditch in front. He suggested a solution that involved bringing in loads of dirt, blah, blah, blah!! That's my DH's department if he wants to spend the $. If it was up to me I'd just wait till the tree in the middle of the front yard starts leaning towards the ditch.
I have procrastinated enough. Off to the craft/sewing room I go!

Carolyn I need to come sew with you, I got a new sewing machine and I havent touched it since I made some aprons a few months ago.

Me Im am missing my little one. He is home with his mama for a few days. Ill probably get him back next week for a few days.
I am going down to visit my friend and my other cousin. I havent seen my friend since December. so she called me and said it time you come for a visit. so ill go down for a day or so.
im leaving in about an hour. I just have to pack a few things and decide what car im taking.
Well its time for coffee and see how my boys r doing.

Trish As much as those busy busy days wear you out don't you just love it? I know when some of my former foster kids are here with my granddbabies I love every exhausting minute!
My baby kitties are playing me a fool! They act like they cant drink milk from a bowl and need the bottle but they sure can eat their tiny share of the canned food and love to tackle the dry kitten food! those little beggars just like the bottle because it reminds them of the momma this big old meany stole them from and the attention from the big old meany who holds them with that little bottle! they sure don't like it outside in the cold anymore thou!
Prayers going up from our house to all friends here facing difficult situations in life. Have a great day everyone

I finally got caught up on my sleep. I slept 10 hours last night. Every part of my body was exhausted!
Trish....you sound like the energizer bunny....you keep going and going and going!! Grandchildren are the best!
Carolyn...I wish I lived near you. I have some clothes I need altered and can't find anyone I trust here! You amaze me with all the things you make!!
Now of course I am drawing a blank as to who else I was going to comment to...DUH! Sorry....I still care about all of you just can't remember.
Having a relaxing day today....I need one!! I made a meatloaf last night for lunch today. No cooking for me!!

Afternoon OFF family...
Got a call from one of the tenants asking me who died...huh?? Said the coronor was on the other side this morning. Well I said I have not heard anything. Yet. So still waiting to hear who died now. Sad.
Boss was supposed to come today but so far not here. Probably be here tomorrow now. Thats ok with me but the tenants are upse that the washer has money stuck in it because it is over full or someone put a canadian quarter in it. Also have another one leaking all over the place and repair will be here tomorrow 11-2. Great. One thing after another it seems.
55* here today but the sun IS out!!! YIPPEEE!!!!
Lunch is over so back to the office I go...

Hello my OFF sistas,
I'm enjoying the lull in the afternoon when Benny takes a nap. Butch is napping in his recliner, too. It's a rainy day here, so we're all stuck inside today. We did go to the grocery store this morning. It was SO much easier shopping with Benny with Butch along to help. I let them play all sorts of games in the cart while I went and found the groceries. (I'm still learning where everything is in this new gigantic grocery store!)
I woke up at 4:30 a.m. with a headache and I've still got a bit of it this afternoon. I think it's the rain, but then again, it might be TOM. TOM has been hanging on for TWO WEEKS now! Enough already.
I'm so happy to have my sweet hubby home again. Even with severe jet lag, this house is a happier place today. I don't care if he sleeps around the clock--I'm just happy to have him home again.
So, I'm going to take some more Tylenol (for all the good they do me) and go lie down for an hour. Maybe I will finally shake this headache if I take a nap.
