Hi it's Sunday
Just finished mowing the front, sides, and back yard and just in time for the little rain shower that lasted only long enough to wet the grass. I swear, the grass was growing right in front of me. I'm about to jump in the shower and take the grandbabies down the mountain to the valley. Every time I mow, I know I lose five pounds. Of course, that's an exaggeration, but it sure feels like it. My living room is a mess with kid's toys everywhere and piles and piles of coloring books and books. I keep telling the kids if you guys don't pick this up, it's going to the trash….yeah right!
The other day, I went to my PCP to get my B-12 shot and my PCP asked me about some reconstructive surgery to remove the skin. I reminded him that we had talked and are waiting on DH to have his other corneal transplant and after that, I am going full steam ahead. So, in the near future, I'm going to finally get this damn skin off. You all know what I mean when I say the arms and thighs have enough extra skin to cover several adult bodies. LOL. My abdomen isn't so bad because before wls, I had lost a couple of hundred pounds and had the abdominal skin removed in what was to be a three part surgery. Parts two and three are soon coming.
Well, the shower is calling my name and the cats are pushing me in that direction. What, do I stink?
I spent the morning holding my 3 day old grandson. Then I put a train together, and played soccer with the 2 year old. Then I painted and did stickers with my 4 year old granddaughter. I am in Grandma heaven.
Talk to you tomorrow.
