Hi Its Wednesday!!!!! Im Alive!!!!!
I had so much fun on my road trip last summer, I may decide to do it again this year. Next year my DH and I are going on a cruise no matter what. We are saving our pennies!
We always fed our pets table scraps and they all loved them. Our son and his family came to visit one year and brought their dog. We were warned he only ate dog food. While they were gone for the weekend we had the dog and the two boys. I thought the poor doggie needed a treat so I fed him some table scraps. I was cleaning up dog puke for hours. When my son got back he said that's why only dog food. Geesh, he coulda told me the reason!!
I cut out the fabric for 2 outfits, an Indian maiden and a witch. Made my son and I a salad then went to Han**** Fabric. Got back and our son was here and we ate our salads and he took a nap. While the men snored I went back and made two of each outfit. I still have snaps tp put on a few things. Making jammies tomorrow and I may try a witch's hat. All the patterns I bought say they are for an 18" American Girl doll, but the patterns very greatly in size. Luckily I have dimensions so I can adjust.I rarely cook anymore unless we have company. My DH and I each fix our own meals. He kplikes stuff like beans and hambuger and hot dogs. I prefer fruit and veggies.
It's time to hit the sack. See ya'll in the morning.

Oh, my! Lots of posts today.
Well, as to the nibbling after Benny, I KNOW I have to stop it. That's part of how I got so heavy in the first place. I ate 3 meals every time I cooked: first I tasted everything as I was cooking it; second, I ate the meal at the table; third, I ate everybody's leftovers as I was cleaning up! Funny how we fall back into the same old patterns, isn't it? This is the first time I've struggled with this since WLS. I figure keeping Benny has triggered something inside my subconscious. I'm a mommy again.
Now, actually, I have no garbage disposal here at the lake, but I do have a massive herd of deer! (Check out my pics on FB.) Every day I scrape all my food scraps into a tin pie plate and every evening I take it out with me and feed it to the deer. My puppies don't eat table scraps as a general rule because of allergies and itching problems. So, I know what to do, it's just a matter of making myself remember to do it!
Carla, if you come through Texas, we can try and get together. I would love that! I'll be going back to Nacogdoches for a couple of weeks in May, so it might not work out. (And you don't want to detour to Nacogdoches! It's hours out of the way from any major highway.)
Grammy, the doll clothes are looking good! Love seeing the pics on FB.
Well, it's 8:30 p.m. and I'm ready for bed. I sure do play out early these days! And lordy, but my back hurts! Benny is so heavy by the end of the day! Surely I'll start to adjust soon. Right? Right.
Love you all!
