I to am in Mommy Mode!!!!! Tonight I have 2 kids not only one!!!!! I have my 2 yr old and my 5 yr old!!!! we just went out for Pizza buffet and I only had a bit of salad!!!!!. Just got back from walking Bentley and now Im going to put them in the tub and to bed. I have to get the 5 yr old to school by nine am. and he is a bugger to get up in the am.
They are moving into another rental house over the weekend and mom seems to get more things done without thekids around.
I to get into funks!!!!! but I try not to let things bother me!!!!!

Hi Carolyn and my OFF family:
I was supposed to have a dental cleaning today but I forgot to take my pre-med (antibiotics) that I have to take because of my knee replacement, so they couldn't do it. Sigh ... I looked at it on Tuesday and thought, I need to take this, then forgot it. So I ran to this new store I've been meaning to try; not bad, I like the deli, they actually slice the meat for you to your specifications, which I like. I needed to get stuff to make salsa chicken (other than the chicken thighs).
So after walking around the store, and standing in line, then standing in the kitchen for a while to make my chicken (throwing it in the crockpot), my knees hurt, my back hurts). I have to sit for awhile but I need to do laundry yet, which means hauling stuff out to the laundry facility onsite. Already took a vicodin and need to relax before going to the laundry.
I am having terrible financial problems of my own making and it's driving me crazy. I'm trying to dig my way out of it ... can't do bankruptcy again, can't ask mom for more money, just have to figure a way out. Tried to borrow money a couple places yesterday but was turned down. Don't know how I'm going to pay rent next month.
Well, I guess I'll work it all out. Anyway, I need to get my laundry ready. Running out underwear and socks. It's a nice day today, 78 degrees.

Okay, I got my cat scan done to my gut, I hate drinking that contrast x3 and it sits in your tummy for awhile. I drank lots of water yesterday and today I drank almost 2 pots of coffee mixed with my EAS Protein drink. Gut's going "yada-yada-yada"! LOL
My internist thinks I might have a loop somewhere in my bowel or it just gets kinks. Hey...I'm a kinky girl!! Gotta keep my sense of humor going.
Momma cat had her kittens but I don't think she is tending to them where ever she dragged them to. I found one kitten (dead) she brought up to me on my deck, a beautiful yellow baby.
So if Momma cat is rejecting this litter for what ever reason, I'm calling the vet to see when I can bring her in to get her fixed. Then I hope no one else drops off their pets at our house. I would turn into Ellie Mae Clampett if my hubby would let me. I'd turn my 10 acres into a pet rescue. But then my 3 dogs would get jealous for sure. They are just like my kids.
Hubby is going to Kentucky tomorrow for a whole week 4 wheeling it with his buddies. Now really I will have total quiet unless the grand kids come and spend the night next weekend. I do enjoy "me time" any-who!
Nothing exciting happening with me at all tonight at work, it's kinda quiet. It's Secretary day so the nurse's had a spread of fresh fruit (for me in mind) along with Skinny Cow ice cream bars, cup cakes and chocolate cake. I stayed mindful of my eating and stuck to the fresh fruit but now I just had 3 bites of the chocolate cake...it was calling my name and 3 bites were enough for me! Now...I term that a success...only 3 bites and threw the rest away! Hugs Debbie

Greetings All,
Today was a very productive day. I am working on the graduate students' summer workshops and normally get in the middle of working on the projects and get fifty interruptions, but today went well. Then, I was at my desk working my butt off and one of the department chairs emailed me and said she wanted to drop by and did I have a minute. I said, yep and she came bringing me this really nice lunch. So, I had a really good lunch.
DH is seeing more and more every day and he is actually reading again. He said his right eye is totally functioning. So, we are both so excited that I don't have to lead him around.
Well, I need to get off and head out the door and take a little walk. It is really nice out and my neighbor, the one married to underwear man, wants me to go with her for a walk. So, that's what I am about to do.
