Thankful Thursday, Sup
GOOD MORNING OFF friends
First thing prayers going up from our motor home for all who are facing health or other life difficulties. We remember you each day.
Granny At the height of the cabbage patch craze I made what seemed like millions of little outfits for the dollies for all the little girls in our family and sold so many. I had my surger and that was perfect for that kind of sewing.
We are still in GA going on a dolphin watch boat ride today if it isn't to windy and a swim in the ocean! Our friends have to leave to marrow as bob is dependent on dialysis and has to be home Monday morning so I guess we are pulling out also and will stop at the creation museum in Ky on the way, we have strong beliefs so that should be very enjoyable for us.
Have a great day everyone

Good Morning Caroline, Jo and all to follow,
Well, as I was reading the previous posts I heard the street sweeper go down the street. I completely forgot that it started while I was in Michigan. I guess I am getting my first parking ticket of the season. Rats! I think Bristol Borough does the street sweeping just for the ticket revenues.
I have a slew of appointments today. My PT/INR was still high, like over 10, yesterday, so I got a Vitamin K shot, which stings like nothing I have felt before. So, I have to go to the lab to get that tested again. Before the lab, I have an orthopedist appointment, for the ongoing back pain from my fall in December. After the lab, I have another appointment at the hematologist's to get the results, and depending on that, possibly another Vitamin K shot. I also have an appointment with the kidney specialist this afternoon.
I am trying to get these all taken care of before the 1st of May, so I can head to Michigan as soon as my daughter needs help with the kids after the baby is born. I have been trying to reach Mom to see if she wants to join me in Michigan, but she is never home, and does not return phone calls. She came to town the day before I left for Michigan, and went home the day after I got back. She came to spend Easter with the family and to attend my nephew's big Special Olympics track and field meet on Saturday. They had much better weather than we did for my granddaughter's soccer game that day. We were freezing our tushes off. It got so cold, my grandson and I went back to the van, which was parked right next to the field, and he watched a DVD, and I watched the game. Imagine 10 four year olds all chasing the same ball up and down the field. It was too cute.
Hope everyone has a blessed day.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Good morning Carolyn, Jo, Trish, and all my OFF sistas!
Carolyn, I have to laugh at your description of Liquid Stitch. I've only ever used it once, and that's exactly how I remember it too! LOL!
I made Benny some blueberry pancakes for breakfast this morning. Not sure if he ever had them before, but he is LOVING them right now.
Up early this morning, fed all the deer, made Christie a sack lunch to take with her to work today, and now I'm finally able to get on the computer. My mornings have certainly changed!
Chris had a pretty good day on her first day at work. She is working a full shift today, as well as Friday and Saturday. Lots of hours, which is good, but also lots of stress for her. Found out yesterday that she only gets 30 minutes for lunch, so we'll be making her lunch for her often, I think. But, like I told her, that's good. She won't have to spend a bunch of money eating out lunch every day, and she won't have to eat a bunch of fattening fast food either.
Want to ask a special prayer request this morning for Butch and I as we transition into this new phase in our lives. We have some big decisions to make right now and it's so hard for us to talk things out when he's 12,000 miles away. I tend to get very emotional and that makes him very frustrated and sometimes it's hard for us to get past our surface feelings to the heart of the matter. So prayers would be greatly appreciated today and this week.
Well, Benny and I have to go to the store today. It will be our first time to go by ourselves. I've got the car seat all installed. How hard can this be, right? Like riding a bicycle. . .
I'd better go now. Benny's a little fussy and clingy this morning. I think he's missing his mommy. He didn't cry when she left this morning, but he almost did.
Love you all!

Vickie, you have my prayers! I know how hard it is making decisions together when half of you are gone! Phone calls are great, though. Do you Skype? But I know with phone calls you don't wanna go too deep and wind up hanging up with both of you having your feelings hurt.
I know you can get through this! Be patient!, and enjoy Bennie while you can.
When Ray was in the Navy a letter took at least two weeks to get to the ship, or from the ship to home. Our daughter says that was back when they had cannons on the ships!

Thank you, Carolyn! You are a good friend, indeed.
Happy to report that we had a good conversation and were able to hash out the details of a particular problem for this month at least. "Sufficient unto the day are the worries thereof." Got more stuff to work out as the months roll along, but we've got May settled at least.
It's quite a process uprooting your life, maintaining two houses, going back into full-time "mommy mode", and trying to support your daughter and her baby emotionally and financially. I may be joining Judy in her blue funk soon!
So grateful for the friendship and support I find here on OFF everyday. You all are the absolute best!

Afternoon OFF family...I am still in this funk...depressed maybe? Not sure but feels like it could possibly be it. Not sure what my problem is. I have a job that I love and a man that loves me to pieces. So what is it????? Maybe its the weather? Maybe its having all my work falling into place now and no real challenges?
Had some storms this morning nothing big. Drizzle now. 59* hope it clears up soon. Wanted to go shopping with one of the tenants today. She wanted to take me to this place that had things really cheap and I have never been to this town before.
Well Bandit is pawing at me to go potty so best find the umbrella and get him out.
Thoughts and Prayers for all that need them.
HUGS
