Good Morning Jo and OFF Sisters,
Glad to hear you are enjoying your trip to Georgia. I made is home safe and sound, after an hour of snow and four and a half hours of rain on the PA turnpike yesterday. My sinuses and back were killing me when I got home. I feel better today.
Today, my son, who came home from Pittsburgh with me, borrowed my car to go to a court hearing. He is being sued, and is counter-suing a woman he did computer work for. The hearing is near Lancaster, PA, and he couldn't afford the trip there and back.
I have cleaning to do, and a pork loin to put in the crock-pot today.
Hope everyone is having a blessed day.
Hug and love to all,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Morning all. Sober 546 day and so proud of me. Saw the ortho specialist and I have severe carpal tunnel and will have micro surgery probably next week. My PCP referred me to a very professional, caring, cute (oh Yes) doctor from Long Island who moved here for his residency and never left. He has a great office staff and his bedside manner excels. He looked at my hand and was surprised I waited so long for help. I have had cts for 36 years ever since Sara was born. It would come and go, very dependent on my thyroid problems. I have had little feeling in the thumb and 1st 2 fingers on both hands for many years, one of the reasons I stopped driving. The chiropractor brought feeling and function back to my left hand, but muscle atrophy in my right palm is very bad so surgery is needed. This doctor is a pioneer in endocopic cts and the operation will take 4 minutes. Minimal recovery and restrictions. I am grateful to have found him.
Found an effective OTC medicine for leg cramps at Walmart that has given me great relief. Last night I slept 6 straight hours and had no cramps even after a very physical day yesterday.
Today we move the RV to our summer under the tall pines site. Cool here and lovely.
Working on dropping the extra pounds I have gained with the cymbalta. Drinking lots of water and increased my protein. Being extremely MINDFUL of everything I eat helps. Necessary mind set indeed. Before WLS how come I NEVER felt the pounds that crept on me? How did I balloon to 330 lbs. Yes I had severe thyroid issues but food went in and lots of it. Now these extra pounds feel horrible. The "upper belly" is a roll almost. Still tight and flat around the area of the tummy tuck. But even my thighs feel like I added 30 lbs instead of 10.
Glad Trish made it home OK. Miss hearing about Utley and his life.
Hope all are well and enjoying a lovely Tuesday.
Hug and prayers, Monica

I am putting this on my "cross border into USA "list of purchases...how much does 40 tablets cost and who makes them...?
I have been suffering from leg cramps for months and Googling the reasons ...other than lack of Potassium ( but I eat bananas and avocados), one of the more likely culprits in my case is lack of iron...I am on iron supplements (Proferrin is also on my USA shopping list) and cross border shopping is only 1 hour away from where I live in Canada...

Monica,
I had carpal tunnel for years and years and refused to let them do surgery. Finally, I was not sleeping and the braces were not helping and at the time, I was in a wheel chair and could not even wheel myself around, so I did one one month and six or so months later had the other done and have not regretted having them done. That numb and cramping feeling gone for ever. Good luck with the sugery and congratulations on the sobriety.
Good morning Jo and my OFF sistas,
Benny and I are staying in this morning. We're watching Curious George. I am feeling a bit weary today. Chris has gone for her interview at Target. Wish her luck today! She thought her interview with Hobby Lobby went well yesterday. Said they would let her know early next week. Hope she gets an offer soon.
Not much on our schedule today. Doing a little laundry. Need to run the vacuum a little later today. Hot dogs for lunch. An easy day.
Love you all!
