An Update: Lamenting the Lack of Learning

Eileen,

You have no idea how low the medical community has fallen. There was one nurse that came in and didn't wash her hands and didn't put on gloves and she was going to remove the patch on his eye. Plus, she was going to raise the head of his bed. I said, nope, you get the hell out of here and don't come back. I have had like two hours of sleep and am living on raisens. But we left the hospital and are staying in the hotel near the clinic. And, he is in bed, his sugar is down, his pain is controlled, and he is resting. I am taking him back to the clinic tomorrow morning and we will see if things look better.

KUDOS to YOU, lady! I had to fight for my Mom and I know it isn't easy...much admiration from me! *hugs*

Thanks Nancy. It makes me so mad when I watch how the nurses come in and won't even look him in the eye or speak to him. I just want to say, WTF. Anyway, we have to take up for our loved ones, don't we?
