Tuesday-things to say today!

Hi BJ!  I'm sorry I've been so tied up lately and unable to properly cheer you along on your progress.  I think you're doing just great post-op.  I'm so happy for your smooth recovery.  Don't worry overly much about hitting a stall (or two or three) as you go along.  First thing that happened to me was I lost about 20 lbs and promptly hit a 3 week stall!  I thought, "Please don't tell me I did all of this just to lose 20 lbs.!"  LOL!

So happy to have you on the forum.  I enjoy reading your posts.

Good morning all OFF'ers, things are quiet in western nebraska. I had an unusual Easter. I spent part of it at our daughters and part with my DH cousins. Of course we got the guilt trip for leaving a little early. My grandkids are 12 and 19. They are past egg hunting. We didn't even get a thank you for their easter gifts. Family can be a pain sometimes. Oh well. This week it is supposed to rain. We are very dry here. Well, have a great week everyone. Mona

     Busy day planned. Tonight is my first Pampered Chef cooking show. The house is clean. Just need to pick up a few odds and ends. I have the products I need out, but need to set them up in an orderly fashion. A little nervous, but not bad. I've done all the preparing I can. It's all friends and neighbors so I shouldn't have much trouble.
    I've been eating a more balanced diet.  Should be feeling the effects soon. I reconnected with a friend I met here on OH. I'm really glad.

You will do great tonight, Mag!  The products are so nice and of such high quality.  They will practically sell themselves.  If you want a quote for the brownie pan, you can tell them that I say this:  "This pan is fabulous!  I use it for all kinds of rolls, drop biscuits and cornbread." 

I also love the splatter screen.  It's the best one I've ever had.

Good Morning Vickie and OFF Family,
I arrived at my daughter's safely last night.  Was put to work babysitting the kids right away.  I had a checklist with times next to it on how to get the kids to bed, and it did not go exactly as planned, which had my daughter unnerved all night.  Plus, I was able to make four phone calls from my iPhone just fine before I started getting them ready for bed.  As I was trying to follow the schedule, my daughter kept calling me, and I couldn't get a signal.  Then, I would fall behind.  Argh.  She is very Type A, and I am the exact opposite.

Today, I took Isabel to preschool, and then took Lincoln to RiteAid and IGA.  I threw some of Lincoln's clothes in the washer, and will be switching them to the dryer in a bit.

Mommy is picking Isabel up from preschool, and we are meeting at McDonalds for lunch.  Then, Mommy will go back to school and I will bring home the Munchkins, probably stopping at IGA for something I forgot. 

By the way...there is white stuff coming out of the sky here.  Lincoln went and got a jingle bell and started singing "Jingle Bells" for me when he saw it.  Too stinking cute.

 Enough of the snow you guys!!!!! I hope when I hopefully come to Michigan in May I dont get any!!!!!. I have a job interview today at three. Wish me luck!!!!!! I hope they arent smelling around.....
It is georgeous here in the Gulf Coast of Florida. We are going camping this weekend. I am going to try my hand at Canoeing. down the Peace river. It is a 6 hour canue trip. Should be very pretty.

When the grandkids were younger and I would go to my daughter's to babysit, she always had a schedule for me. But then she would fly away and I was on my own. Everything always got done, but not always on her schedule!

Vicki, so glad your trip went well. My DH and I wouln't be able to make it 6 hours. We have to stop and pee and stretch our legs. I can do 4 hours but my knees protest when I get out.
Nan, so glad your chemo is doing well, and that you were able to get to your family reunion! We had a great family reunion in 2000. Us older folks would like to have another, but it is way too much trouble to plan. Younger ones would come, but don't wanna organize.
The yard guy came and mowed and we have the windows open to enjoy the smell.
Our son and DIL came over for the last of the Easter leftovers. It was all so good, but I'm glad the leftovers are gone.
Going to watch our grandson play baseball this afternoon. The game is close by. I know I should go to more of them, but sitting in those bleachers or those canvas chairs are very uncomfortable. And bathrooms are so far away and dirty!
Prayers for all that need them. Love for everyone who is on our OFF!

Hi Vickie and my OFF family:

Busy day and this is the first time I've to get online and check with my OFF family. I had to take my mom to the doctor this morning, then we went to IHOP for an early lunch ... I had two coupons for free meals of $7.29 or less. So I had coffee and with tip it was a little more than $5. Got home, got a Skype call from my friend Mary Kay.

My brother Gary came home and had a phone call about a job; he has an interview Thursday. Prayers, good thoughts, swing chickens, whatever. He really needs a job. He is so depressed ... he is doing the emotional eating thing.

I have a date with my cousin Mat the judge ... he just won his election in Chicago .... now an appellate court judge ... anyway, on Wednesday night, he's taking mom and me to dinner. Then Thursday, Gary and I are meeting some old neighborhood friends for dinner; Friday, I'm meeting another friend in the afternoon, then getting together with high school folks. Busy, busy ... so today I'm in my jammies and relaxing, watching TV.
