Easter Sunday What's Happening
Good Morning and Happy Easter Family,
Today Christians celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grsteful for this time of year.
Today, I am leaving for Pittsburgh to spend the night, and visit my son. I am also dropping Utley off at his house to visit while I head to Michigan tomorrow to help my daughter and babysit my grandchildren. Praying she has this baby while I am there.

Happy Easter to Everyone,
Trish have a safe trip to Michigan. I to am going to Michigan and Illinois and Colorado. My trip is going to be delayed a few days though. Ill probably be leaving around the 19th of May now. I decided to leave after Mothers day.
Not sure what I am going to do today. Maybe going to the beachfor a stroll.

Rick is making me breakfast and its starting to smell so good!!!!
Went to VFW for bar bingo last night...didn't win anything. Darn! Oh well can't win every week!! LOL
Cooking ham and cheesy potatoes today. Not sure what else we will have yet. Just vegging out today and hopefully no calls from tenants!

Hoping you all have a very blessed and fun-filled Easter Sunday today.
We are waiting for everyone to wake up so the bunny can come this morning. Benny's been up since 7 a.m., but the rest of the adults are taking a little longer to stir. LOL!
I went to bed around 9 p.m. last night. Very early for me, but I was wiped out with all the mowing and yard work. Feeling okay today, but my back is a little sore. Prolly a combination of the hours on the tractor and hauling Benny around. He sure does get heavy!
I already swept the kitchen floor and vacuumed the living room carpet this morning. With 4 dogs and a baby in the house, my floors are taking a beating!
I need to go pull some toes and get these folks up and at 'em this morning. Love you all!

Today I will enjoy Easter with my Texas family. This year is casserole potluck. I've made avocado deviled eggs. We'll have an easter egg hunt for the small children. Then a pinata. After that we'll all fly kites and then chase each other with cascerones (eggs filled with confetti). I really enjoy this celebration with my adopted family. Planning on taking lots of pictures.Happy Easter everyone! Positive thoughts to all in need. Enjoy your families and the day.

Happy Easter, ya'll.
Wasn't planning on anything for today. Ha, Ha! My DIL called at 5 last night to ask what we were doing for Easter. Hmmmm. Hauled a pork loin out of the freezer. Sooooo, pork loin, applesauce, scalloped taters, butternut squash, green beans with bacon, crescent rolls, apple crumb pie, pumpkin roll (my DIL is bringing that). Eating at 11:30, since our grandson has to be at work at 2. He works at a Dairy Queen that is only open in the summer. It reopens this weekend.
Our daughter signed a 6 month lease on a 2 bedroom townhouse. It's in the same gated community she is now renting a furnished 1 bedroom. Her attorney files with the court tomorrow. Our daughter meets with her emlpoyer on Thursday to talk about a big check for her ex. Her contract only addresses her getting her money out of the company in case of death or if she quits! But since she has worked there since she was 16, she is confident there will be no problem. They could force her to quit, and buy her out completely, then hire her back. But then she would not be a part owner in the stores. Of course, the ex who said "it isn't about the money, I would rather have my family together", is now refusing to do anything until he is sure of getting his huge check up front, and he won't budge on the alimony, $5000/mo for 11 years. They will go to mediation, but if he refuses to budge, they will go before a judge. Our daughter is trying to convince them $4000/mo for 7 years. The man is perfectly healthy and has skills, he can get a job!
I hope everyone is enjoying a peaceful blessed Easter. I miss the little ones and egg hunts! You gals with grandkidlets around are very lucky!

I'm at my mom and brother's house ... the old Briesch homestead in Franklin Park, Ill. Got here last night about 7 p.m. The drive wasn't bad but I was in a lot of pain when I got here. Didn't sleep well, either. Then my mom and brother got up early for church, and my mom comes in the bedroom at computer 7 and asks me if I wanted a piece of bubble wrap I left on the kitchen table ... she woke me up to do that .... gee, she could have left it there and asked me that when I woke up. They went to church and I worked on getting my computer hooked up to my brother's wireless network. Took awhile because I screwed something up on the wireless card. But eventually I figured it out ... I feel like a genius.
We're going to my oldest brother Ed and my SIL Margaret's house for dinner today. Haven't seen them since Christmas 2010. Don't know who else will be there, other than Margaret's mom.
Anyway, happy Easter. I'm happy to be on vacation.
