Sunday.....already? Sup
Well, no BLT Sunday this week. Grandson was at a friend's last night, so I don't imagine he'll even be up til afternoon. Our son and DIL like biscuits and gravy. I'll wait to see if I get a text with a request for that.
I realized this morning I have not been out of my house since Tuesday morning. Yesterday I put off the errands I thought I MUST do. Perhaps tomorrow!
This week, I have to try on clothes and decide what I am going to take with me to the ACMAs on Friday. My daughter gave me lots of clothes when I was in OR. She tells me there is no 'dress code'. People wear anything from jeans and western style shirts and boots to formal dresses and heels! She took our granddaughter last year. This year you have to be 18. I'll take a lot of choices! BUT, I hate any shoes other than my Birkenstocks. So people will just have to accept them with every outfit I wear!
I may not have left my house but I am still using my treadmill every day! I am soooooo motivated by my trip! And my diet is going very well.
Everyone have a fantabulous Sunday!
I just finished breakfast, and I am about to get dressed for church. I had a good night's sleep, thank God.
After church, I will be watching the Phillies game, and seeing my AA sponsor. I also have more tidying to do.
Hope everyone has blessed day.
Hugs,
Trish

My yard is getting it's mojo back! Things are starting to look really good around here again. Juan is a miracle worker! Can't wait until we finish the whole thing. It's going to look fabulous and have lots of curb appeal.
But today we get some much needed rest before the big week we have coming up. I think we have to do our taxes today. Bleh. It's very complicated when your husband works overseas for a foreign company. We send everything off to the tax man, but first we have to answer a 4 page questionnaire, etc., and pull together a bunch of documentation. Still, this looks like the best day to tackle that project. One more tick off the check list!
Caroline, you wear whatever shoes you want to! I haven't crammed my feet into a pair of heels in years. I wear flats and sandals and tennies. Glad to hear your diet is going well.
Hubby is feeling a bit better, although his neck is still stiff. He wants to go sit in the hot tub and drink coffee, so I'll sign off now.
Love you all!
It has cooled off around here. Of course, we turned off our wood stove. The house is warm enough, we just don't have as much ho****er!! I like my hot whirlpool baths. Oh well, I may be done with those until next winter.
Not sure what we will do today. I need to clean the basement, at least get started on it. It is the grands play area & craft room.
Have a wonderful Sunday, Nan
I'm spending the weekend with friends in the Coastal Bend of the Texas. My young friend was showing her pigs at the 4H show in Refugio County. One of her pigs took first place in it's class and made reserve champion in the breed. They auctioned it off yesterday for about $2500 which will go for college expenses coming up. What a difference a year makes. Last year her pigs didn't even make the top ten. She sat on my lap and sobbed for several minutes.
I've been grazing since Thursday and have to stop it soon. I hit all my favorite food haunts on the drive down here. Also hit Walmart and bought smaller clothes so I'm working against my success this weekend. I have been really worried about the friend I am staying with. Her boss is a complete ??? and in the real world he would have been fired but because he's a federal employee they just transfer people around. Stress and comfort eating are still my enemies.
The weather has been glorious while I've been here. I'm having to eat allergy pills because everything is blooming.
Positive thoughts to all of you.
Vickie- hope you get those nasty taxes done. I know what you're going through as I had income earned while I worked in France.
Trish- sounds like you may have finally thrown that sinus infection. Hope so!
Grammy- enjoy the CMA's and wear those birkenstocks. I lived in those for three years until I got my orthotics. Now I wear tennis shoes all the time.
Happy Sunday everyone.

Morning OFF family!!! Been missing in action online last few days...been so busy here and then we had company come visit which we loved!!!!! Had a great time and went to VFW for bingo and birthday party after. Had a good time and haven't laughed so hard in so long it felt good!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to do it again!!!
Weather really changed again! Been in the 80's and now lucky to be in the 60's!! Have a freeze watch for tomorrow they said. But it IS still march!!!
Had an alarm go off friday night Rick took off running and me to the office for the call on which building he needed keys for to get in if no answer!!! Never did find out who set the alarm off!! We went knocking on all the doors of the building it came from and nobody fessed up!! In fact one grumpy guy was so mean to me when I asked if he was ok!!! Told Rick that if the building sounded alarm again to skip his...he was mean!! Everyone else was thanking us for coming to check on them!!! Overheard one tenant say to another that she loved us because we are so caring on their safety!! Made the mean guy episode go away some after hearing that from her. Made us feel good!!!
Need to relax today and get ready for another week of renting apartment and signing a lease etc. Love it!!! I have so much to be thankful for since this move!! Best thing we have ever done!!!
Well time to find some food...Thoughts and Prayers for all that need them!!!!
HUGS
You and Rick seem perfect for the jobs you have with that apartment complex. I am thrilled for both of you. Keep up the great work you are doing. Ignore the grumpy old guy. He needs love and doesn't know it.
