Welcome back!! Glad you had a good conference!! Wish I could run again! But my knee will not let me not to mention this old body...I can walk fast and that is about it. Never was one to run even when younger.
Congrats to your hubby for getting his sugar down!!!! Can't wait to hear news on his new eye!!!

Running was something that I did a lot of when I was young. When I started running, I would walk fast, then walk real fast to the point of running for about a minute, then slow down and then bump it up for a minute again. When I actually began running, I thought it would kill my knees but I did running just like walking fast. IN fact, I had forgotten how to run. I had to learn how and that was a difficult thing to do. But, I finally did get it all together and now I run--not like the young kids--but I do get the legs going and it burns the calories like crazy.
Plus, it makes me feel so good and the endorphines that I get from running are like taking large hits of speed and the feeling lasts for hours. That's why I run in the middle of the day.
But, walking fast is just as good and is effective.
