This is my plan for the day and if I change something I will come back to you all and let you know:

B:  Healthy French Toast (made with w/w cinnamon bread, eggbeaters, shredded apples and pecans) 3 x 3 inch piece with fresh strawberries

S:  Dannon Light Yogurt

L:  Romaine lettuce, red onions, tomato and baked chicken

S:  Sliced Banana and Strawberries, 1 cup mix

D:  Chicken Sausage and some leftover cabbage

S:  Skinny Latte

That's my plan for today and when I go home, I will walk Roxie

 Great idea, Laureen.
I have been slowly getting the weight off, in spite of my lack of exercise these past few months.  My morning started off poorly, but will get better.

B: Banana and matzoh (I'm not Jewish.  I just like matzoh for my belly upsets.)

S: Chobani Greek yogurt.

L: Salad with ham and cheese.

S: 2 Cheesesticks (I share with Utley on this one.)

D: Leftover corned beef, cabbage and small potato

S: No sugar added Slim-A-Bear ice cream bar.

I think I will start an exercise thread.

Hugs,
Trish

That's the spirit Trish!!!  and walking Utley, if you do, is a form of exercise, as is housecleaning ;)  Sometimes it's small things we overlook. . .

Thanks, Laureen.  I just got back from walking him.  It was about 35-40 minutes.  There were daffodils all over the park by the river.  It was a sea of yellow.  I wore the poor dog out.  He was panting the last ten minutes, and it isn't hot yet.

I have to build my strength and energy up, from being in my rocking chair for two+ months.  My daughter needs me to babysit the Munchkins for two weeks in April.  They are very energetic.  So, I have my work cut out for me.

 Hey guys

You all are so good.  I need to get back to basics as you will see below:

Breakfast - banana

lunch - child's hamburger and child's fries
Not a good choice I know

dinner - oven roasted chicken
whatever veggie I have in the pantry

snack -  fruit of some kind.  I have bananas, strawberries, kiwi, apples, and melon on hand.

hmmm, Linda, while a banana is not horrible, where's your protein at breakfast?  you are going from dinner/snack/sleep, which is a long time with no protein, that would cause me to go into reactive hypoglycemic mode, we are all different, but my nutritionist says that carbs need to have protein to balance them out. . .

My sister and I agree there is something fundamentally wrong with us. Of course it is our parent's fault, right? We can both fast for days at a time without a problem. BUT, once we begin eating we have a hard time stopping for the rest of the day. Sooooo...
Breakfast.....green tea
Lunch....Salad with zero calorie dressing and some crunched up garlic melba toast as croutons
The rest of the afternoon...a cup of blueberries, baby carrots with zero calorie veggie dip, 2 pieces of melba toast with zero calorie peanut spread and sugar free fruit spread
Dinner.....6 oz. cold shrimp dipped in zero calorie pomogranite mayo
Lots of green tea all day.
A bad day for protein!

Hmmm, not sure how well I am doing.  I seem to be eating a lot more than some of you.

B--scrambled egg, bacon, cheesy grits, toast (now not much more than a bite or two of each thing, but still . . . )

L--protein drink

S--half a peanut butter and banana sandwich

Late S-- a few cashews

D--bbq chicken thigh, potato salad, pinto beans, 1/2 cantaloup slice, cucumbers

Dessert--a piece of candied ginger

All of my bread is home made gluten free bread sliced very thin.

Cleaned out cabinets and walked some at the farm this evening.  No real exercise today.
