Tuesday whats up?? SPRING
Linda,
Well, that's what he said. I looked it up on-line and read that ice is helpful for the first 24 hours, but we're way past that now. However, the on-line article also said that an anti-inflamatory, like ibuprofen, is very helpful. So we started him on the Advil this morning, and he says it's better. Now why didn't the doctor tell us that? Or give him a Rx strength ibuprofen? I don't know what I think about doctors these days.
Anyway, he can stand for me to rub it now. Yesterday, I couldn't even touch his neck without causing him misery. But today I can rub and massage it a little and it seems to be helping. I just hope he starts getting better soon. He's been miserable for 3 days now.

I had one of those nights last night where I couldn't sleep. I got up and cleaned the house. I vacuumed and cleaned the showers this morning. I am glad that is done for this week!!
My ex is coming over this afternoon to help me clean the garage and haul the rest of my things to storage. Not fun but needs to be done.
Prayers for so many in need. Wishing you all a great day!!
Love and hugs to all.....connie d
I am one of the many lurkers here, but decided I needed to post for a change. It is so inspiring to read about each of your lives as you battle obstacles and celebrate triumps. You are an amazing bunch of women and have helped me in so many ways since my surgery. It is so uplifting to know I'm not the only who faces the same daily challenges. Prayers for all.

You can lurk, but it's more fun to participate and feel a part of things. I have formed some relationships that are very special as a result of OH and this board in particular and I know here I can speak of my challenges and be understood and get encouragement instead of judgment.
Hugs, Laureen

I am finally home, and resting my legs, after a chaotic morning of physical therapy, surgeon's appointment and shopping. The physical therapy is for the back injury I got when I fell months ago. The surgeon was from my hospitalization in January, and the shopping was at Joann's, for yarn or fabric. Did not see any new fabric, so I got more yarn.
I am exhausted, and have a long evening ahead of me. I hope I stay awake.
Prayers and blessings for all in need.
Hugs,
Trish
