Hi Monica and my OFF family:

It's my Friday and a beautiful day but the pollen is so high I have to keep the windows closed... 81 degrees. My eyes are itchy even with the windows closed. Slept OK last night. Only woke up a couple of times, but went right back to sleep.

Monica, Cymbalta put weight on me, too, and the fact I don't exercise doesn't help. My former shrink says the antidepressants increase our appetite. I don't need more reasons to snack. But the Cymbalta helps me so much, I can't get off it. Just wi**** wasn't so expensive ... it's $450 in my health plan for a 90-day supply, but that's the only drug that's that expensive. So I guess that's not horrible. Some of my generic drugs are free (like Prilosec and my diuretic and my asthma drugs).

Watching spring training baseball on TV ... wish I were there. Don't get enough baseball ont his cable provider, but oh well.

Well, I need coffee ... have a good day.

FYI, maybe this is useful to you, someone told me that in order to help with allergies, it is good to have a teaspoon or two of the local honey, as it helps your body to adjust to the pollens and allergens of the local area you live in and then I heard it on one of those television news things too. . .

Ask you doctor about Pataday eye drops.  It is on the expensive side like $100.00 for a wee little bottle but you only use one drop and it works almost instantly.  My eye doctor gave me a sample bottle and I had my hubby put it in for me.  He couldn't control the drops and put way too much in.  I wasn't concerned since it was a sample and I figured the regular bottle would be larger....not.  Once I got the RX filled I put it in my eyes myself..  I use mine as needed and have not re-filled it for months.  It really helps.

Hi Monica and all of OFF,

I read all the posts, but not able to remember all who have posted and don't want to leave anyone out.
I walked into PT last week and said "I'm done. I don't need it anymore. " I did so well in Austin. I'm not using my walker at all. Anthony said "See you next time>" and I said "I don't plan on coming back." He said that even with doing my exercises at home it will still flare up again and need more PT. I don't want to hear that. May find a different place to have PT if there is a next time.
