I'm up and getting ready to make the drive to the airport to pick up my sweet husband. He called me from Atlanta about an hour ago. I always say a little prayer of thanksgiving when he lands back on American soil again!

Vickie, I know you are so excited about your DH coming home. I felt the same way whenever my DH came back from a westpac cruise (in the Navy).
I got a new thingy-ma-bob to put on the back of my iPad so I can slip my hand into it to hold the iPad while I am using it. Makes it a lot easier.
I made that whacky hat with ear flaps for my daughter to give to her pilot. Now the co. president wants one, too. I made it from a picture and didn't write down the directions. This time, I'll write it all down.
Yesterday I plugged my Tom Tom to my puter to get the maps updated. I lost ALL my favorites again! My grandson said not to do back-up and restore, so this time I didn't. I still lost all my favorites. Grrrrrr!

Good Afternnon Vickie and OFF Family,
I am late posting because I have been up and running since 8:00. Made my AA meeting, and then went to the grocery store for supplies. Came home, made a phone call, and put some dinner on to simmer. I am having my corned beef and cabbage early this year. I was invited to a friend's for St. Patty's day.
The rest of the day will see me finishing putting dinner in the crockpot, and braving the bicycle again. My butt is killing me, and I know that I need more exercise. I am loving this nice weather.

Hope everyones having a great afternoon... I had my last appointment at the Weight Wise clinic before my surgery next week. Had to see the endocrinologist to make sure that my thyroid and parathyroid are in good shape. ... They are and my sleeve surgery is set for Tuesday!! Wow!! I'm getting closer to doing something I never thought I would do.... Scare, nervous, happy, excited! All of the above!! Hope it all goes well........

I am feeling awful ... went to bed with a headache, got up with one. Had a hectic night at work last night ... a headache all night, then when I went to bed, I couldn't sleep ....ARRRRGGGGH! Didn't get to sleep until nearly 5. Slept til 12:30. Woke up with a headache.
It's gorgeous out and I don't feel like doing anything. But ... my left knee feels better. So the shot appears to have helped. I like the ortho doc. He's well-informed and listens. Amazingly, doesn't want to cut at the first word. He wants me to see their pain management/physical medicine specialists. So I have an appointment there.
Vickie, glad you have your sweetie coming home. I know how important that is for you.
Well, not much going on here ... going to watch some basketball today and maybe unpack a box. If I can get rid of this headache. So far, the Imitrex isn't working.

Just a quick note here today. I couldn't sleep last night so I got up at 12:30 AM and cleaned all the house but the shower, I didn't vacuum, or clean my sister's room. Went back to bed at about 3:00 AM.
Woke up at 9:00 AM and finished the cleaning. Then I went tanning.....that always relaxes me. Then I ran some errands and then came home and made lunch. I just took a shower and off to meet some friends again.
