Hello My OFF Family:

I'm surprised no one has started us off today. I couldn't sleep ... and had to get up early for an appointment with a new ortho doc this morning at 8:45 a.m. So of course, I was in pain most of the night after I got home, I was itchy ... I got up, played on my iPad for awhile, took a pain pill, tried to sleep again ... finally got to sleep about 5:30 or so, then got up at 6:30 and gave up. I'll take a nap when I get home before I got to work. Otherwise, I'll never make it through the day.

Easy night at work last night, but tonight, the NCAAs begin, so there will be late games, etc. At least I have Wednesday and Thursday off ... the bulk of the games are on Thursday (well, there are a lot on Friday).

Beautiful weather again today ... I feel rain coming. How's things where you are?

Good Morning OFF friends
Its been a while since I posted.  But I do keep up most days   We finally have reliable Internet service. 
I am going to find a great big nail  and pound it right in the middle of my life and see if I can stop the spinning!!   Its nothing major going on and nothing bad  it just seems like life is spinning  always spinning and I cant keep up with it. 
Eileen I hope you get in a nap and feel better for work. 
I have a interview today with a job developer to supposedly help me locate a job.   I tried that before  with no success but maybe this is my turn this time!    I also have  a job interview to marrow  for a seamstress position but I am not sure I have the right sewing experience for it but I am trying anyway!!

Prayers going up for  all friends facing life difficulties.

I got up and scooted to my AA meeting first thing this morning.  Came home and had to take some Immodium.  Not fun.

Good news:  The visiting nurse discharged me yesterday.  Next I see the surgeon in a week, and I will be done with the leg care.  I now have to call and schedule physical therapy.  I couldn't while being cared for by the visting nurse.  Insurance issues.

Today, I am going to enjoy the glorious weather.

    Where is everyone? I can't believe everybody is sleeping in. What's going on?
      I'm going to be very busy today. So much to do. Ellen is leaving for Kansas City tomorrow morning. That means I can stay up all night and clean if I so desire. I love to clean at night with music going. Strange, eh?

been ages since i posted more than a comment to someone's post.  not much to report.  life keeps going on and i am just trying to keep up.  my mother is doing well considering she feel and cracked 2 ribs then fell again a week later,  i am in louisiana with her now.  will leave tomorrow to head home to texas.  if you are wondering why no caps.....my keyboard is acting up.  i am taking a break from cleaning the house i rent here.  one room done...base boards, crown molding, window casings, and blinds dusted.  furniture dusted, bed made, floors swept now i am letting the swifter wet jet solution dry on  small spot to be sure i can use it on these wood floors.  if so i'll mop an be done.  that will be one room down and 6 to go.  itry to do this once a month.  the rest of the time i dust furniture,sweep  and call it a day.  better get busy.  spot should be dry by now.

Good afternoon Eileen and everyone....

I missed posting a couple days. I didn't get to check in here until late at night and figured it was too late to post.

I am having problems. I have a stalker and it is getting pretty scary now. He is from here. It started when I lived in Iowa and now that I am back in MN it has gotten so much worse. I have reported it. I still need to leave home so it is a little more intense now. I try to always be with someone but that isn't always possible. Wish me luck!!

Everything with family is going well. Better then I expected actually. That makes things a lot easier. Living with my sister is going well too!!

Connie, please be careful!  How on earth did you get a stalker?  What do you carry with you for self defense?  You get yourself some mace or a taser and you hold it IN YOUR HAND when you go out, ready to use.  (If you were in Texas, I'd tell you to get your pistol, but I have a feeling you're not a gun person.)  I worry about you.

Hi Vickie.....I am being super cautious....I rarely if ever am alone. If I am I do have Mace!! I also can shoot a gun very accurately!!

The stalker is a best friend of another friend of mine that died when I was in Iowa. He has always been interested in me. He can't get it in his head that I am not interested in him!!  For God's sake he is married!!!

Connie, be really careful.  I had that crazy guy who followed me from my nutritionist's office and then liked to have drove me crazy on this board.  A few times he showed up at the university and stopped in at the office and asked for me and the secretary said, oh, her office is___and guess where he showed up.  But, my office folks were on top of that and finally, he got the message.  My son had to get involved and my DH who cannot even beat me arm wrestling was going to go kick his ass.  LOL.

Seriously, be careful.
