SATURDAY...WHAT'S UP???????
Morning OFF family!!
Sure has been a BUSY week for me!! WOW!!! Glad the weekend is here so I can relax some! Showed apartments had leases signed and tenants moving in left and right!! Still have two left to rent. Had appointments for yesterday afternoon but they were no shows. One DID call to cancel and reschedule for tuesday afternoon. Met the owners of the complexes thursday. Very niceguys!! They asked me questions and I answered them and they shook my hand several times telling me how wonderful I am doing here in the short amount of time that I have been here. They missed Rick because he had to go buy a new sink for a tenants bathroom. But they told me how great he has been doing getting things taken care of and the place looks great!! Said to keep up the fantastic work!!! :-) Sure makes me feel good hearing all this from an owner and my boss!!! So different from last job I had for sure!!!!!!!! Owner told me I was meant for this job...wow!! Really made me feel good hearing that one!!!
Weather here is 20* right now...BRRRRRR supposed to warm up to 47* today and the rest of the week even more!!! I am ready for that!!!! Tomorrow in the 60's so looks like maybe a cookout? YUMMM
Tonight is bar bingo at the VFW. They are having a spaghetti dinner also. Not sure I will eat that because I never know if it will make me sick or not. Was told they do have sandwiches there also. So I might have one of those instead just to be safe.
Need to go shopping today for a few things for the job and also some for us also.
My youngest son will be having surgery on the 28th on his neck. Has some herniated disc's there that are causing him severe headaches. Thoughts and Prayers would be nice...Thankyou!!! Not sure if I am going yet or not...if we went I would like to stay for a couple days so I can see family and friends. Being its payday while I am gone not sure how Randy would like it getting paid a day late...soooo have to think on this one. I so want to go.
Well time to get a move on and find some breakfast here...thoughts and prayers for all that need them!!!

Another cold rainy day here in the Texas hill country. Gracious! March is certainly living up to her reputation this year. No matter. I have to travel today regardless of the weather.
I went to the ginormous Outlet Mall yesterday afternoon (in the rain and it's an outdoor mall), and I'm now the proud owner of several pairs of new panties and 2 new bras that FIT! Yay! No more saggy baggy panties and ill-fitting bras. I swear I'm going to burn the old ones when I get home.
I also bought a pair of those Shape Up walking shoes. I like them! Very cushy. Then I bought a pair of driving moccasins and a pair of sandals. Shoes are something I can buy now without worrying about my size changing.
I wasn't going to buy any "real" clothes, but I wound up buying several more tees and casual tops from a store I've never shopped at before. But I was able to buy everything in size Large, so I was happy about that. I don't foresee myself ever being a size Medium again, so these purchases should last me for a long time, size-wise. I'm still a little self-conscious about my bat wing arms. Mag said they weren't that bad, but I feel a little nervous buying short sleeved stuff this year. I prefer 3/4 sleeves, but no can do here in Texas in the summer months. I know I won't be doing sleeveless again, but I'll have to make my peace with short sleeves.
So, as Monica so cheerfully put it on FB, I'm now ready for the Red Carpet! Tee hee! Roll 'er out!
Sigh. I've got to get moving. Driving back to Waco this morning. Then going shopping for a new mattress set with my daughter this afternoon. She's never bought much furniture for herself. Wants me along for opinions and guidance. One more night in Waco and then back home tomorrow.
We've got some new folks on the thread, but I haven't had time to properly welcome them to the fold. Glad to see them! Newbies are very welcomed here!
Y'all enjoy your weekend. Love you all!
Vic, I am with you on the batwings...yikes!! Wearing the sleeveless or short sleeves for me depends on how hot it is when I will wear them...I can do the short sleeves but the sleeveless...OMG just do NOT get close to me if I wave my arms...LMAOOOOOOOOOOO Other than that I am ok with my saggy body!! Take that ANY day over the one I used to have!!!! Proud of you for getting to where you are today!!!!

Ya know what ???? I use to be so self conscience of my "bat wings" when I was heavy that I dressed to hide myself. As I age and see the looks of a lot of other people... my bat wings are not so noticeable to others.
Most people who know me or get to know me realize that there is more to me and my weight loss than my flabby arms. I don't flaunt my arms but I do wear sleeveless and short sleeves. When I dress up in the summer I wear a sheer top to "hide" the flab.
I "hid" myself for so many years that I don't care what people think anymore. I guess what I'm trying to say is.... this is me.... accept me as I am or leave me alone. Most people are so self absorbed they probably don't even notice your arms....... smile, that is what they will see.
Pushing soap box back in the closet..... Love who you are.... I do...

I really overslept this morning. I ran a fever all day yesterday. I hope this sinus infection clears up soon. I haven't been this sick in a while.
Today, I am heading to my therapist's for a long overdue session. I am hoping my fever does not return.
Last night, I went to a really good AA meeting. I hope to get to one tomorrow, but that is iffy.
Must get going. Prayers and blessings for all who need.
Hugs,
