Hi Laureen and my OFF family:

It's raining here today ... knew it would because yesterday I woke up with a headache. I had a nice day yesterday ... didn't get anything done but enjoyed myself. Had my eyes checked out ... I have the very beginnings of cataracts (the doc said about 10 years out). My itchy eyes he thought were because of eyelashes growing crooked, so he trimmed them ... who knew? Plus he gave me samples of an allergy eyedrops called Similisan ... a homoepathic eyedrop. I'll try them and see if they work. Supposed to not dry out your eyes.

Then I tried out a new Mexican restaurant ... very interesting recipes and they don't put beans and rice with everything. I had enchilades verdes ... ate about one enchilada and brought the rest home. The green sauce was very flavorful and I could tell it was made from scratch. Yummy!

Today, I got my new crown, so I'll be getting used to that. At least I won't be getting so much food caught in between my teeth. My gums were very irritated.

It's a miserable day. I'm going to unpack and not do a whole lot. Have a good day.

Good afternoon OFFBFFs !

I am supervising a computer lab full of kids who are pretending to be improving their reading skills with a multimillion $$$ computer program the county bought just for them, but in reality they are playing videos games when they think no one is watching.  Today is their lucky day because I'm just too worn out to fight that battle.

Got bamboozled into sponsoring a field trip to the Everglades National Park on May 2.  Not looking forward to the mosquitos, snakes, gators, heat and 98% humidity.  Ugh!  My idea of roughing it is slow room service, so this is going to be one hellish day.

Other than that, it is great to spend another day above ground.

Holy crap!!! THURSDAY already?????? Been so busy that time has really flown for me!!!! Rented so many apartments this week I am down to 2 now!! Have 2 people coming at 2 and 3 to look at them tomorrow and hopefully they take them so I am booked solid!!! Its a GREAT feeling!!!!

BIG BOSS was here today to meet us but Rick was gone to get a sink so he missed them. Jon and Rick (father and son) are very nice guys!! Jon (owner) said he is really happy with how well I am running this complex and said Rick is also doing a great job handeling maintenance!!! Said to keep up the good job!!! Asked me how many apartments I had open and I told him this side is FULL other side I had 2 left!! His mouth dropped!!! He said FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! He said I was born to do this job!!! :-) Boy do I ever feel GOOD now!!!!!!!!!!!

OK time to get some food...starving after a full day again today!!!
