Good Morning Carla and OFF Family,
Sounds like you had a good time camping.  I have not been camping in ages.  It rained all weekend, and we ended up in a hotel.

I had a really good weekend.  I went to an AA meeting on Saturday afternoon.  Then, in the evening, my sis-in-law and I babysat for friends from church.  What a nice evening.  Sunday was a blessed morning of worship.

Today, I am waiting to hear from the nurse.  I am up early, so I have to wait a while.  Then, I have to go to my son's bank to deposit some emergency money.  I also have to drive a friend to the pharmacy. I then have to hit the lab to get my INR done.  I see the hematologist tomorrow afternoon.
I hope everyone is having a blessed day.  Prayers for those who need them.

Hugs,
Trish

Morning Carla, OFFr's

Nice seeing your face here, many of us oldtimers have been pursuing other things it would seem and I see less and less of them, though I do see many on Facebook. . .

Love camping, though it's been awhile since I went and like you, I though bamboo only grew in Asian countries, but there are several folks in my neighborhood who have bamboo growing and they use it more of a privacy hedge, I do love it and if I can ever get myself to the outside part of my house (fixing up), I might actually grow some of it in my yard at the back end of it.

Had a nice weekend with Tony, though Saturday was spent doing support group in the early part of the day, getting home and getting my nails done, but he is a good sport and knows that I have many things that keep me hopping and he gets it, we did go for a nice dinner and went to see The Descendants, it was a well acted movie, although the basis of the movie was a bit depressing, there was moments of laughter to be had too. . .

Today has me at work early because of a hearing, so I actually went to sleep before 9 last night, a good start to the work week.

Well I wish you all the very best day and for those facing serious challenges, as always I wish you great peace and strength to persevere.

Hugs, Laureen

Good mornin' ya'll.
Carla, we used to camp all the time, both when I was a kid and then we had kids. We used to camp at Bellow's Beach in HI. Our 3 kids in one pup tent, DH and I in another. We finally advanced to a bigger tent, then a cab over camper, then a motor home and finally a 35' fifth wheel. But the pup tents were the most fun.
I worked for a guy in OR who planted bamboo in the front of his house as a barrier for street noise. That stuff spread like wild fire. When he wanted to thin it out, he discovered that the roots run waaaaaaay deep, and in every direction!
Trish, so glad to hear you are able to get out and around more now. Soon this whole leg thing will be a distant memory!
Laureen, I really like George Clooney, even if he does sometimes do some whacky movies. I hate going to the movies any more cause the popcorn beckons! Even if I have eaten before I go. So I'll wait til it comes out on DVD.
I am so jealous. My daughter has gotten down to a size 12!!! We have been on the same diet and she is losing twice as fast as me. But, she does a major work out at the gym. I just walk on my treadmill. We both wanna look good for the CMA's later this month! The good part is, as she grows out of her bigger clothes, I'll be shrinking into them! And she always has nice clothes!
Nothing for me today except fixing my son his salad for lunch, waiting for the UPS guy to bring my order from Walden Farms, and crochetting.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

I am ready for a new week.  My work will take me to NH on Wednesday and it should be a lot warmer there than today.

Please let me know what you think about the Walden Farms products that you have ordered.  My cusband (cousin's husband) owns a pharmacy in town and has agreed to start stocking some items that bariatric patients need.  I told him some of the sugar free items would work great for diabetics too.  He already sells and fits shoes for diabetics.

It's cold outside and I don't like it.  I maybe headed to the coast this weekend.  Praying for nice weather.

Prayers for everyone and hope you have a great day.

So far I love the Asian, Raspberry vinagerette and honey mustard dressings. The strawberry jam and marshmallow fluff fruit dip leave an awful taste in my mouth. I also like the ketchup and BBQ sauce. I am waiting for veggie dips, and a few other selections. You would be sooo lucky to be able to get it close by.
I know they say zero calories, but I am sure they can say that because there is less than 1 calorie in a serving. Soo if you use tons of it, you're gonna get some calories, but still not too many.
I will let you know how they taste once I try everything. Even my DH likes the stuff, which is a good thing!

Hi Carla and my OFF family:

It's been cooler here lately, too ...but it's March so that's to be expected ... temps go up and down.

Not much happening here. It's sunny at least, temps in the 40s, so not too bad. Back to work tonight. Have a good day.

Hello Carla and all my sweet OFF sistas!

Carla, we have all those things here in Texas, too: gators, dragon flies, owls, bamboo, etc..  Bamboo is a BIG nuisance.  Once it starts, you can never get rid of it, sort of like kudzu vines.  But it does make good fishing poles and such.  We use it with our seine nets because it floats.

So today I am busy sorting, packing, pitching (love that term, Eileen!), and cleaning upstairs in Christie's old room.  The kid collected everything.  Just finished packing up her thimble collection.  Next come the dolls.  I decided that if I was going to Austin to meet Mag later this week, I might as well haul a load of Christie's stuff to Hilltop as well.  It will get it out of my house and one step closer to hers.

I know I will be glad I did all of this later on down the road, but I'm getting pretty sick of it for now.  Looking forward to my little road trip in a couple of days.  I need a break from this house!

So, I'd better get back to work.  Just had to pop in and check on everyone and say hi!

Love you all!
